Charlie's house is a private rental, not that it matters. They didn't qualify for a council or housing association build as Brett works.
Also, wages aren't lower up North lol.
Salaries are lower up north because they don’t need to be so high. To live up north is cheaper so the buying power is about the same if not more than down south. That’s why so many people move down south because job opportunity is far greater and salaries are higher (even though it sort of cancels out when living costs are so high)

I've known people move up North as property is cheap as chips in relation to what they get for their money down south but I've never heard of companies making it policy to pay lower salaries just so that Southerners don't feel put out because of the cost of living down there.

Wages are lower up north because literally everything is cheaper up north compared to down south 😂
That's not true 😂

No ones saying they ‘make it policy’ lol but say for example a well paying job up north probably would barely cover bills in somewhere like London. It’s not a specific policy but companies are only gonna pay what they have to pay someone to have an attractive salary. An attractive salary up north is not the same as down south. Companies don’t make it policy to pay women lower but the wage gap still exists 🤷🏼‍♀️

It would be a policy though. I divide my time between London and Yorkshire, I just honestly have never heard this.
Ughhh don't get me started on workplace sexism I'd never shut up.

Having lived in both the North and the South my experience was the North was cheaper for food and housing/rent but wages were lower and (decent) job opportunities rarer.

In the South I earned a LOT more for the same job but was given London weighting allowance on my hourly wage to cover things like travel and higher living expenses, that was the same for a lot of my friends there.

Worked out pretty much the same take home at the end of the day..

I’m pretty sure the only necklace that has been called Chavvy is Donna. I’m starting to think that Charlotte cannot actually comprehend sentences properly. If you’re reading that Charlotte, that means you don’t understand.

One time I made a comment about how it’s hard to get kids into a routine sometimes and that she’s better than most as i know girls who feed their kids dinner at 11pm / 1am. She made a comment on her live that someone said she feeds the kids late during the routine conversation. Like - they both don’t really sit there and read properly.

And Charlotte - honestly. You make us apart of your daily routine. You check us more than Charlie and Brett has. We credit you for things - you’re still going to get upset. You know it’s not that hard to NOT open the website... or type in the name or are we a permanently open tab that you refresh.

Don’t post majority of your life and no one would have things to say.

I agree, I think she probably sees her name in a post, skim reads and latches onto a “negative” word, even if it’s in a different context to how she’s taken it, purely because it’s in the same sentence as her name.

Yes! That’s exactly what I’m saying. The gross salary you earn down south has to be higher because everything is more expensive but in general you aren’t any better off money wise.

It would be a policy though. I divide my time between London and Yorkshire, I just honestly have never heard this.

Not necessarily, I don’t know any company that has a set job and set pay for that job. Your salary is based on you as a person and your experience it’s normally a case by case basis etc. Obviously there are starting salaries for some jobs but if you are in a cheaper area you are less likely to demand more salary because living is cheaper.

Yeah I'm sorry, but of course wages are lower up north, I can't believe that's been argued lol. If they weren't then the house prices would be the same as they are down south. We could afford a 5 bed detached house up north but I know the wages would be lower.

Omg couldn’t be; I’m an apprentice and earn 22, definitely know mid levels who make nearly twice as much!
An apprentice of what? Do people actually know what company he works for? How old is he? Isn’t he like 19/20.. He surely hasn’t got a degree? I really can’t see dopey Brett being on 40k a year at his age..

A council house / housing association isn’t just for the unemployed lol!

Well I live up north and a 5 bed detached would be around 800k 😂 and it’s not our fault that’s the same price as studio flat in Fulham. We may get paid less but our expenditure is also less so who’s winning really?

Hate that I'm giving her attention by writing this but 'don dons' got from somewhere shes like Kim k, am I the only one that thinks Charlotte's trying to be Kim k by sticking her booty out in pics on insta. Its embarrassing, you've got a boyfriend send them to him not all over social media darling

My friend had teeth like this when we were younger. She had a brace fitted when she was about 12 .and they look lovely now.

I don’t know why Morgan and her parents didn’t do this?
My daughters are heading that way and the dentist mentioned braces but shes still too young. Morgan clearly hasnt been to a dentist

I'm talking about our area (where Charlie lives). You could be high priority and still sit on the council list for at least a couple of years before anything comes up and even then it would be a bronze category old build, not very instagrammable shall we say. Housing association? Not a chance round here if you're in a couple and in employment.

Lol yep the council they’d fall under they’d have no chance because they’d be on the lowest band so they’d be waiting even longer than the poor sods in the higher bands already are. Most housing association properties are left for homeless/vulnerable as well. I know exactly which housing development their house is on and it’s 100% private rented. They pay somewhere around £600-£650 per month based on what others are up for.
