I've just seen that first steps video lol the way she running round behind her with the walker is in my opinion pathetic. They need to tumble and get them selves back up again that's apart of how they learn to do it. What's wrong if she tumbles over she's not on concrete. Seems like she baby's them too much.
I thought that! Maybe that’s why she constantly keeps them in their walkers and bouncers because she doesn’t want to just let them be? Maybe that’s to do with her anxiety she doesn't want them to get any bumps or bruises but that’s all part of growing up. She’s doing more damage by wrapping them up in cotton wool, if you just leave them be (obviously not completely unsupervised) they can explore and they will naturally become more mobile as they learn to climb and be independent!

Anyone see official bretts story 😅 article wasn't even about the U.K. 😂 but I did see Donna comment that they were waiting to hear what they were allowed to do on YouTube...

Anyone know what Donna's health issues are? I've always wondered could it be an eating disorder.
I'm sure they've said it's not an eating disorder. Iv seen them say it's something that's eating away her inside or something like attacking her body

Had a look at & found this

Sorry to jump on this but I want to reassure anyone reading this that thinks their kid is behind because they aren't walking yet- its perfectly normal not to be walking unaided at a year old! I agree being kept in walkers etc doesn't help AT ALL, and I do hope health visitors will advise Charlotte of this asap, but my son was 16 months when he took his first unaided steps and he is perfectly fine! X

Mine was 15 months before his first unaided steps. I never used a walker as my health visitor advised against them. We did have a jumperoo for a bit (HV didn't like those either) but it was just in a few minutes bursts not dumped in it all day 😬

Have to agree not walking at 12 months isn’t unusual, there’s a wide range of what is considered normal child development. How ever the twins don’t seem to be mobile in any capacity what so ever and that is not normal at their age, they even look physically weak. Any good parent would be concerned, but Charlotte seems totally oblivious.

I hope a health visitor steps in sooner rather than later.

I’m a HV & I must admit, using a walker past 12 months (at the VERY latest) is detrimental as 1) it doesn’t allow children to learn to walk unaided as they are so used to walking in the walker, it can take much longer for them to realise that they have to use more muscles to walk without the walker 2) it gives parents a false impression that their child is able to control their movements/on their way to walking when there could actually be a reason they aren’t walking.

bottom line is, it’s horrible seeing them in a walker everyday. They need to be packed away & Charlotte must learn to be less anxious as she’s holding the poor babies back.

Anyone else feeling sorry for ashley and his new bird they seem happy together and trying to get on with there life’s together but all they get is shade from charlotte and sly posts aiming at them you’d think she has better things to do like look after her “dying mother” and kids
