It's an essex thing loads girls this way dress their kids in it.some look wayyyy ott

Haha oh no I'm from Essex I think it looks really tacky too and didn't get why the teen mums were obsessed with it. Also idk why but I hate the clothing that has the kids names etc on it cos it seems so wasteful. Like what are you gonna do with those clothes when they've grown out of them a few months later? Fair enough if they wear them til they're worn out but I doubt that happens and so they can't exactly donate the clothes to charity or give them away.

Me too I literally live 5mins drive from Charlotte and 20 from megan the amount of young mums I see with kids dressed in it looks so chavvy.some are tasteful but majority are really really not.i dont like names on things just for safety aspect really

I didn't actually know Charlotte was even from Essex lol. I guess it's a bit better than the chavvy tracksuits that used to be so popular lol. You're right about the safety aspect actually cos a random weirdo could pretend they knew the kid/their family if they saw their name on clothing.

It's to do with traveller culture where I live.

Showman and gypsies often decide to dress their children like it, it looks nice I think. However now a lot of people tend too and it doesn’t look good. Charlottes twins don’t need fancy shoes like that, they’ll be ruined straight away.

I have a boy and two girls and have always dressed them in Spanish and traditional wear while they were babies. I’m in Glasgow and a lot of people do here, I don’t think it’s for gypsies
