Teen Mom USA (The Next Chapter and Family Reunion) #5

It’s slut shaming to think that someone who has had 2 unplanned pregnancies, one almost ending in adoption, is disgusting for throwing herself at and sleeping with her deadbeat baby dad ex resulting in her possibly having an STI and finding it amusing when talking about it? Nah Briana is just an absolute twit, sorry 🤷🏼‍♀️
Also I always used to think that “Dr” Drew used to make up that the statistics had been reduced 😂 of course the show doesn’t focus on stopping teen pregnancy anymore although may go back to that once the kids are a bit older….i think the family reunions are definitely 💯 n the wilder side too with the introduction of alcohol and moaning workshops with added lingerie 😂
Anyone can sleep with who they want but come on we all have an opinion on these people some stronger than others and in this day and age some people don’t find sleeping around and glamorising it ok (doesn’t bother me) but some don’t
---
I did wonder who she knows at MTV? Did she really show how great she was on the Challenge? MTV must really like her and Cory

I thought it was because she was on the challenge and they knew what she was like, maybe had the right personality for the show etc plus Corey is born showman so 2 for the price of one 😁

Aaannnd right on cue, here she is 😂😂

I didn't know this, DeJesus isn't her surname as the page says.

I guess she was chosen because of the history of not knowing who Ryder’s dad was until she was 6 months old.
That’s the kind of thing TM loves
Def this reason! I bet MTV thought it would be really dramatic and loads of arguments as the situation sounded so messy 🤣 but they didn’t really have any drama or arguments. They used to just keep falling back into bed with each other 👀 … Cory is annoying as duck and loves attention but considering he didn’t even know Ryder was his until she was 6 months he really stepped up.

Im sure ive seen somewhere this before. So what’s Roxanne’s and Brittany’s surnames then? Not Dejesus? What a weird name to pick if not
Dunno going by the fan page. She gave money to Chris's crowdfund and it's says Soto as her surname. Seems really odd to say if not true

What confuses me about Briana’s family is they always say about growing up without a father and it is made out that he was completely absent. But her dad was around for her and even raised Brit as his own. He was with their mum and lived with them until they both got pregnant in their late teens (Brit got a termination and Briana had Nova). For some reason it’s always made out that he’s never been around.

I was referring to Briana and the Columbian, she mentioned using protection so it’s weird she’s being shamed for that. Yes I know not everyone has casual sex and that’s a personal preference but people here are shaming those that do, it’s very weird and immature tbh. We’re all adults.

Ohhh. Well I suppose everyone’s got an opinion it’s just the nature of tattle. Bout time she used protection, 2 kids and the threat of an sti actually got through in the end!

it’s not the sex itself (if protection is used) that I find offensive and lacking in maturity. It’s the complete disregard for safety. When bringing home some random person from a nightclub, this is a complete stranger, there’s no way of making a proper risk assessment.

Will they steal from you when you are asleep, will they want to do things sexually you haven’t agreed to and effectively turn it into a rape situation, will they intentionally or accidentally rip the condom (especially if drunk), could they become violent and refuse to leave if they don’t get their own way, could they turn into a creepy stalker (if you’ve given them your full details or taken them to your home address), could they spike your drink to do more to you than permitted, could they beat you up, will they go to the police station the next morning and make a false accusation.

You don’t leave your doors of your home or hotel room unlocked due to the risks of strangers entering while you are are incapacitated (asleep), so it makes no sense to me to invite a complete stranger to stay the night. People who pose a threat will want to get other people in vulnerable situations, so picking someone up in a nightclub when they’ve been drinking is prime opportunity.

Although while they were being followed by the cameras in the mtv house, I can see it is a bit different as there are other people around and that reduces the safety risk for , but it also places others at risk as well. We don’t know if mtv are monitoring the cameras 24 hours a day or if the others have locks on their bedroom doors, plus it seems that not everyone was even aware there was a stranger in the house with them overnight until the person had left. For duty of care for everyone’s safety in that house, it should have been a basic rule of no overnight guests…that random guy Brianna brought in could have been a convicted rapist and the mtv cast and crew wouldn’t have know until he attacked someone.

I think it’s very irresponsible for mtv to show her behaving like that a portray it as a big joke. People watch shows like that and it normalises behaviour…which may be safer on the show because of the cameras…but isn’t safe in a normal home setting.

It would be safer to hire a prostitute/gigalow who has a business and reputation to uphold and wants repeat bookings than to bring home a completely random person from a nightclub.

Obviously different country but still MTV. On Geordie Shore when they sleep with someone there’s a lot the viewers don’t see. They have to show ID to producers, sign contracts, show they’re relatively sober.
I imagine it’s similar for their other shows
I was thinking this while reading the above comment, they have to wait for an hour after consenting as well to fully sober up.

That is obviously a (statistically low) possibility but it’s just crazy to me that some have never experienced this or even bringing people back from the club/ event for an afters or anything? Or gone to one yourself? Live a little 😬 crazy to live life to THAT cautiously. You would’ve hated uni 🤣 this was student life in a nutshell

This screams victim blaming to me!

You are obviously an extremely risk averse person/ potentially sound a little scared of life lol if I'm being honest. I had to laugh at 'making a proper risk assessment' 🤭

Casual sex is a fact of life, has been since time began and always will be. Humans love and need sex and tbh a little risk and excitement. I'm not saying it doesn't have it's dangers, thanks to the male species there will always be risks just walking down the street and being human, but yes I agree with someone else that this is verging on victim blaming/ slut shaming.

Women can literally be sat on a bus going to work and any of the things you listed and worse can be perpetrated against them.
