I honestly love Cate and Tyler, people say they are trauma bonded and slated her for going to rehab and leaving nova, and say Tyler is gay but the things they have been through and out the other side is tremendous. There’s a lady on the app that’s like a clock and she recaps everyone’s seasons and atm shes doing cate and Tyler and I just want to cry for them. I’ve seen it all before but you forget. The horrendous way April treated cate and butch having a go a them for giving Carly away yet he’s spent more time out of Tyler’s life than in it with jail and what he has provided has been emotional abandonment

Tyler shouting at Butch in their original episode that love *isn't* "all a child needs" :cry: The maturity of the two of them at 15 compared to their own parents was staggering.

I think Tyler plays up for the camera’s - I don’t think he is mean to Cate or anything I just feel like he doesn’t know who he is. I do feel like him and Cate are more just friends at this point, but do think they would be lost without each other.

Their early lives have been horrendous and they should feel incredibly proud of the life thay have given their girls. Little Nova is the sweetest thing I love her little personality.

All the recent drama with Cate’s family her brother and her mum just make me sick, her mum should feel lucky Cate even keeps her around, I feel like they just use her as a cash cow!

Sorry just about Briana’s bit (who i can’t stand) Don’t you think Luis only shows up when they are filming because he gets paid? Poor Stella no consistency from him, he either needs to be all in or just duck off and let Devoin be her dad

I agree about the friends. They probably love each other but they’re not in love

yes he’s an absolute waste of space, and the way Britney was like “why’s he here” him and Stella are just strangers to each other

I do think Tyler plays for the cameras in the way that he just sees it and goes with it he’s always clowning etc. I don’t think he has a hidden agenda for example. I think h and cate are soulmates tho I’ve experience relationship of convenience and friendship and i think they are the real deal. Apart from the weird accusations about being gay there’s never been any interference like that in their relationship.
Luis is a deadbeat and devoin has mostly been her dad. I just hope the recent tit show about his and Bri’s relationship doesn’t affect the kids

I saw what nick said and it’s so sad. Just before this cates sister had a go as well and it seems to be all about money and “protecting April”. April was at the get together I forget what it’s called now where all the girls tried to repair their relationships with their mothers (with coach b-cringe!) and still cate gave April so much yet she dragged her literally through the mud. In that family Cate is seen as the bad one cause she has her head together more than them. Never seen in my life that having your head together in a family is a bad thing. I think I relate cause of my relationship with my mother

I wasn’t sure of the reasons but thinking about it his reaction to Brandon and Theresa like I’ve said before. He acts sometimes like they’re just looking after Carly for a few years until she comes back to them

Saying he didn’t want a heffa for a wife

April was an awful mother but the scene where she refused to sign the adoption papers was because she told Dawn she was concerned Cate was only giving Carly away to keep Tyler happy. April said the week before the birth, Cate had told her was keeping it. This is from an unseen moment. It kind of changes my perception of things a little bit

Yeah his attitude to Brandon and Teresa was a bit like having a paddy. *I* don’t think he thought they would ever get Carly back but I do think they thought they might be more involved but the fact they became so big on teen mom really was a negative for them being in Carlys life.
The heifer thing really did make me think wtf but this has resurfaced with cate and Tyler and both of them have said is was edited and taken way out of context.
I do also think cate wanted and was prepared to keep Carly and only put her up to keep Tyler, when Tyler found she’d been speaking to her ex and split with her she said something that made me feel she had put Carly up to keep Tyler and now he was gone what was the point?
I do think they are on a good place now tho and if it was all Tyler pushing for Carly’s adoption he’s got his karma with all girls plus Carly has a loving and stable home. If she’d stayed with cate even without Tyler who knows.

I always remember butch shouting at Cate " you have a tattoo of your kid you don't even have" whilst he's stood there with his kids names on his arm who he hasn't been around for!. God I wish she would have shouted that back at him.

Exactly. Cate is so passive it speaks volumes about what she’s had to do in the past about keeping the peace. Even when she didn’t antagonise April she still got abuse. Both April and Butch have such an impact on cate and her state of mind, in a time she needed so much support. She got none and got blamed and abused.
 
I think Tyler and Catelyn come from such dysfunctional families who can’t see that growth is a positive thing. Instead they feel that it is an insult to want better and to make different choices to the ones that everyone else made, so the family members attack them and their choices. It’s a very common pattern for toxic and uneducated families, they can’t bear to acknowledge that their choices caused problems for people around them, so they choose ignorance as it requires no change and feels comfortable.

I applaud Catelyn and Tyler for breaking the cycles it’s not easy especially when the familiar patterns would take no effort. They are constantly striving to improve themselves and that will ripple on down to their own daughters ❤️

I think she's fab. And I love her style.
But she needs to be careful with the aesthetic enhancements now because she's starting to ruin her natural beauty.

On a side note, the owner of that clothing business that Chelsea promotes / works for. How much is she desperate to be Chelsea?!
She's slowly changed her style to the point that she now just looks like she's borrowed Chelsea's wardrobe. She's changed her hair and makeup to look like Chelsea and now even uses the same phrases etc as Chelsea does.
And she's got to have at least 15 years on Chelsea's age so I find it all a bit cringe!

On the flop side to that, her friend with the super curly hair and Deirdre Barlow glasses has absolutely blossomed since the early Teen Mom days when she'd pop up occasionally and is gorgeous now. She's quirky, got her own style and I love how she hasn't moulded herself to look like every other American female these days.
She seems genuinely content with herself too and I love her relationship with Aubrey.

Yes!! Chelsey Grace is amazing!
She is stunning, and as you said she doesn't conform and has her own style. Also, she has literally been there since day 1 and still continues to support Chelsea with everything. She seems like such a good friend.
