All I’m saying is they played on donna kebab in young and pregnant I wouldn’t be shocked if they’re playing up on Chloe’s conditions especially if she gets payments for them too she’ll still have to play along for the tv in case dwp are watching.

I’m not saying her conditions are bad and she wouldn’t feel pain. I don’t know anyone with them but we are aware what mtv are like and Chloe already had a following on Instagram so it is likely for her own sake she maybe being dramatic for screen time and the way she makes her illness her personality. Let’s be realitic if she didn’t play up on them or make them dramatic how could she have them as her personality 🤷🏼‍♀️

this is exactly what the cynic in me thought! 💰

my friends mam often laughs about how easy it was to get her fibro diagnosis and how it’s ‘great’ that she gets extra cash for it. She once demonstrated to me her ‘acting skills’ that she did for a disability interview 🤣🤣obviously this isn’t the case for everyone

This is why most conditions like this that you cannot see people seem to abuse for money so genuine cases get dismissed as lying sad really when you can just get a job 🤔 as you have said she's blaintly cheating the benefits system for her own gain

This is a bit rude imo

Exactly! Honestly her mums a mug looking after her daughter if that’s the way she gets treated
Going by her insta she seems like OG Chloe barely has the kid and focused on this health influencer lifestyle or whatever you want to call it.
Her mums probably doing it more the sake of her granddaughter then for Chloe’s benefit because if she’s that focused then the child would barely get a childhood or look in then probably end up thinking she’s got an illness herself once the hype drys up for Chloe

I wanted to give her mum a hug when she spoke to her the way she did about the car seat. It was a clear genuine mistake. No issues with her having the baby when she’s sick yet she makes one genuinely mistake and made her feel like tit in front of a camera as well about it.
---
Oh and not only that, they took the shoulder pads off the car seat which is a risk in itself as everything that comes with them car seats such as shoulder and crotch pads should be kept on at all times. Yet she had no issue with that, but her mum makes a mistake and she says she can’t trust her with the baby

Literally this! Was no need for the reaction at all. I remember when I was weaning my son and my mum have him cucumber with skin on chopped in circles. I didn’t get annoyed at her because when I was younger that was the norm. I just explained to my mum with blw we cut in finger size strips with the skin off. My mum didn’t care I pointed it out she was thankful I did and was glad I was educating her because the times have changed a lot in regards to child safety over the years

Fibromyalgia as a condition has always confused me. I’ve been told it’s more of a psychological condition isn’t it? There’s no actual way to diagnose it or ‘prove’ it. There’s no test or specific way of confirming it. It’s almost something doctors are known for over diagnosing when they can’t explain someone’s pain and in some case it seems like they tell someone they have it to get rid of them when they can’t resolve the problem. It’s baffles me a bit..

I have CFS which also is a diagnosis of exclusion but I can assure you it’s debilitating, as is Fibro. They are not psychological conditions, it’s just that doctors aren’t sure what causes either of them. In a lot of people’s case, they often come on after a period of illness. For example, I developed CFS after having glandular fever. No one ever takes these illnesses seriously though - as demonstrated on this thread apparently. Of course some people take advantage or fake it but that doesn’t mean that the illnesses themselves aren’t genuine. There will people that take advantage in any walk of life.

I didn’t say it was not taken seriously.. it must be considering the amount of people who get diagnosed with it and claim benefits for it etc. Also I mentioned the psychological part because even if you research it will say it’s linked to mental health. Even on the NHS site itself it says it can develop in people suffering with depression or even whilst grieving someone dying. It’s most definitely over diagnosed and there are people using it as an excuse to claim disability benefits, but at the same time people do that with a lot of illnesses too. I just think this one sticks out because there’s no actual way of testing for it to confirm it. Sorry to derail!
