Was that what she meant by chloe has someone come in to help? Mine kept freezing and I only heard that bit
Yeah. Someone asked if she was eligible for housing and she said no housing was for people who get no help but she has social services and her mum involved so she wasn’t eligible for the housing and has someone come in to help form social services

would she be able to milk social help or will it be genuine?

Hmm I wonder if social services are involved just on the basis of her physical health or something else is ongoing
I just find it mad, like not dismissing at all that she has these conditions but the care system is so underfunded and from what we've seen on TV a lot of us aren't buying she can't do more for herself. I wonder if she's had the mental health team involved because of her extreme anxiety with leaving the baby and that's part of why there involved

Yeah I agree with you both. I think her mum doesn’t want to say she can’t cope because she needs social services involved but instead they’re ‘helping her’. Like I’m not being funny but social services don’t just get involved for nothing.. my guess is all her trips to a&e with flare ups have provoked a safeguarding referral for her especially if she has mental illnesses and as she’s got a child they’ve had to involve social

It's so hard to get help for those who need it. We have to fight in work to get it in place and so many people live with the conditions she's got and don't have social service help. I think your right mental health will defiantly chase up a referral and especially if she was going on about leaving the baby the way she does when the midwives and health vistors were around. I think she's been refered to the mental health team maybe and then stated she feels that way because of her conditions and upbringing and that's how she's got them involved. Or her mum said home help to make it sound less social serviceyyyy

In fairness the way she goes on that she cannot do anything for her self it’s probably for the best that they are involved. Where do they pick these people from🤣

Yeah probably best that poor EH has the help she’d be stuck to the sofa otherwise 😂 it makes me think like is a condition to social services be she has to live with her mum so EH isn’t left alone with her Incase she can’t cope or gets a flare up? Maybe that’s why she went from suddenly not trusting her mum to even go for a walk to saying she can’t live without her and she does everything for EH?

Forgive my ignorance but how could social services even help out? Is that not more of a carers/nanny role? They aren’t baby sitters surely

Exactly, they’d only help in terms of suggesting parenting classes but they wouldn’t run it themselves. So there’s definitely more to it. They don’t come in your house to ‘help’ you. If that were the case there’d be no one in the office or out on emergencies because they’d all be too busy sat in peoples homes ‘helping’ with their kids 😂

Also they will know EH will grow up as a young carer with the way Chloe is. Sad, a lot of children have that responsibility but if Chloe is as bad as she is saying it wil he EH taking taking over when older

Exactly, it doesn’t bare thinking about. My 7 year old has never seen me in so much pain or has had to ‘look after me’ because he’s a child. It’s my job to look after him and I’m sure others with my condition will do the same, when you’re a mum you just get on with it you don’t expect your child to help you but I’m sure she will expect EHy to help

I bet you 100% though if she didn't have her mum or friend who will help at the drop of a hat she would find the strength to do the everyday tasks she says she can't now
One of the nurses I work with as endo and fibromyalgia and works 12 hour shifts because she's a single mum of two and has no option
I'm sure chloe wouldnt like the alternative being EH placed with social services of she can't meet her basic needs when unwell
