I’m a big believer that Mums still need nights out etc. I never got much free time when my two where little ones autistic. Didn’t have a big network of people to ask to babysit and no dad around , it honestly played havoc with my mental health and I hate the thought of other people feeling how I did, but I think Mia takes the piss, I think a lot of the problem is the majority of her friends don’t have children.

I think even as her friends start to have kids and settle down she will be the one out partying still

I was very surprised that she never really saw her dad or knew him properly until she went to live with him at 16. Even how she said he wouldn’t cook dinner and would play music pissed from 1am-10am when she lived there. Made me think is this why her and marliyah moved out of there because he still does that stuff. Yes cringey listening about Olly knowing they split up so abruptly and suddenly afterwards.

I’m only 10 minutes in but I feel like her childhood sounds chaotic. What kind of mum takes her 14 year old to get the implant after losing her virginity and says nothing else about it and her dad getting drunk for hours at home while she’s getting up for work

Lol at Sophie justifying Mia’s parenting by referring her own bogan upbringing. “Me mam used to shove sweets in me mouth to get my to shut up, my mouth was full of decay, she used to smoke in front of us, we used to basically live in the pub too etc.” You can see where Mia’s issues stem from in this too (both mummy and daddy issues) and she probably would’ve benefitted from therapy and not just aired it all out on a podcast with someone who’s enabling all her toxic behaviours. Also, love the constant nods to us tattlers
