Harsh, some kids go through absolute hell and abuse. It is clear to see she is loved, clean clothes, and a home. No one is a perfect mother and I’d hedge a bet you aren’t either.

Yeah I've noticed that and seems to have been keeping up the hiking when she can good for her she was never big or anything anyway but she seems happy and well and its nice to see and nice to see her being confident out with the boys too god im soft

Ambers house is a tip but she is pretty harmless IMO and spends time with the boys doing what they enjoy. Also Megan is not a traveller she just wishes she was.
