I wouldn’t take the comment that personally just seems to be certain users take comments over “the subject” very person and really judge people for even question “the subject” even when you made it clear in yours you haven’t watched the the last two episodes. People just pick and choose what to take in from peoples comments on “the subject” to try and start arguments, debates or try and be little people.
That think you did any wrong, all you asked was a simple yes or no answer. There was no need to bite your head of for it at all.
I think “the subject” should just be ban from discussion until Amber and Brooklyn have an official conclusion to “the subject”
I didn't bite anyones head off. She had asked if he had been diagnosed and I said it wasn't as simple, which is fact? we wouldn't get that from the series, as it's 8 episodes long and it was forwards then last episodes, when in fact it can take years. I think Amber thought in one of the episodes that it would be as simple as getting that private appointment and walking away with a diagnosis which would never happen! We don't know what's happened since the camera have stopped rolling though. I can sympathise with Amber a lot!

Not sure what I said so bad! I only said it was as simple as people think 😅

Never said it was that simple, not getting into a debate about who knows more and the right things to say about autism/ADHD , just asked what I did because the comment I quoted said she looked gutted she was told he doesn't have ADHD .... so gave the impression it was going no further
I think you took my comment way out of context. My comment was implying that I think Amber seemed to think it was as simple as rocking Up for an appointment and getting a diagnosis. When it can take years, which is fact. I don't think many people realise this when they start this journey and I can really sympathise with her. It's a long old process and not something that's taken lightly! I'm not patronising, even if it sounds like I am, I'm really not. I have autism and adhd myself and a tit way with words, my children have asd and need to come off this thread!

Telling me its not simple as people think and it takes years etc is patronising , I do know how it works and like I said the original comment gave off the impression she was told he doesn't have ADHD so that's why I asked what I asked.
I wasn't even replying to you in the first place anyway so don't know why you got involved 😅

I'm repeating myself here but I'm not getting into an argument about ADHD/autism , I'm sick of reading "I/my children have this so....." , which basically means people saying that think they have more right than others to talk about it. I've only replied to explain my reasoning and this is the end of it now. Everyone should just move on.

Is it just me who thought Amber looked taken aback at the news that Brooklyn may have ADHD but fly under the radar, like she thought they may just say “no he’s fine”?
I know it’s been done to death but this was my experience. My daughters diagnosis wasn’t straightforward but when it was confirmed there was concerns even though I was almost 100% I was still shocked and it did make a million things go through my head at once about what a diagnosis would mean and how it would change her and our lives. That’s how I took her reaction anyway.

Anywayyyy who’s upset no new ep tonight 😭

I know nothing new to talk about. The season is stupidly short there must be call for more if they look at the viewing figures

The thing is with Amber and I think people forget this but she’s hand loads and loads of people dming her telling her Brooklyns got this that and another. So imagine for years you have loads of strangers commenting on your posts, sending you dms basically bombarding you suggesting hers got this, that and another, doing similar things as their kids who’s got diagnosis'. So I wouldn’t be shocked if she’s had it drilled into her head that he’s definitely got it. Like you only have to look at the comments on here of people that takes it personally when people suggest maybe Amber just needs to set boundaries first before she settles with it’s definitely something.
If you have thousands of people suggesting it’s “the subject” of course she’s not gonna change her approach because loads of Instagram and Facebook mummies kids behave similar to Brooklyn but have a diagnosis so what’s the point in putting boundaries in.
I think Instagram and Facebook mummies haven’t helped Amber at all and just got her hopes up for nothing

And to change it from “the subject” wonder if Erin watched last weeks episode and now making a burn book or voodoo doll of Mia and space raider

I think Amber really needs to look at parenting , when I was first approached professionals about getting my son put on the pathway for diagnosis , they would see him till I had done two parenting courses and it had been ruled out , now I knew straight away it was nothing to do with my parenting as my son was a twin and his twin sister had none of the behaviours that my son did. There literally chalk and cheese , but even now Hudson is starting to display the same behaviours

I do wonder if it’s different areas and their approach to these things. I wasn’t offered parenting courses but my daughter had to attend a session once a week for “troubled children”, kids who had experienced extremely broken homes, domestic violence, all kinds of abuse, addict parents, parents in prison etc. I was shocked when I went in for a session when parents were invited and felt like the odd one out. These kids were prone to violent outbursts and the staff were trained in serious restraint. I still feel guilty to this day my daughter was put through that instead of being given the help she needed. That was for 2 years of her schooling and was still 3-4 years before diagnosis. Sorry for derailing but talking about ambers situation brings back some awful memories that I had buried. I hope Brooklyn is progressing through what they need to do to see what his actual issues are. I wonder what they would offer Amber. Maybe she’s had some intervention to check her parenting that we don’t know about but I think MTV would insist on showing that

Every area has different procedures. Even school were backing me not to have to do parenting courses as my son was twin , and my daughter was the polar opposite to him. I suppose they have to do these things as some people are always quick to blame there child’s behaviour on neurological disorders, when in fact it can be parenting or home life. My son 11 now he’s been under our local development centre for 6 years now. He’s diagnosed with adhd but there messing around with his autism one even though school and other healthcare professionals that he’s sees through his school as he goes to a specialist school say he is. The whole diagnose procedure, has been a tit a show for my son , I’ve been told once we finally get his proper diagnosis I’m to put a complaint in. Just been a proper nightmare, also with my local authority trying to get help and support with him , just feels like no one wants to help and because it’s your child you should just deal with it sort of thing

This kid really will do anything to get his drug money in his pics😭
