Does Amber and Ste even have jobs? They look typical parents who claim benefits and don't bother look for work

I knew when Megan got the dog and it stayed at her exs dad house they wouldn't have it long before they "got rid" cause they couldn't care for it. Poor dog I feel sorry for was passed around how many times... Just irresponsible really🙄🙏😔

Like that bleeping horse she got and built a tiny shed for it in the garden! Can not believe anyone let her do that
 
Of course, amber hasn't tried to better herself or her son. She's had years of arguments with ste, Brooklyn hasn't been properly socialised. She never does anything with him as far as o can see, no trips anywhere, no swimming, football anything like that. It's an existence... all that boy has known is fighting , nastiness and his dummy.

I was about to post this about Amber. very early on she was volunteering and talking about work. I think she is depressed, all she does is doss about her house. Did Ste not work at dominos for a bit, I seem to remember him in a uniform?

Yeah she finished a college course and wanted to go to uni to be a social worker, always had makeup and hair done but she always looks so tired and drained so I think the same def depressed. And not sure where he works 🤔 but he’s always said he works all in the week and has his son on weekend.. they seem like nice people separate but they clearly will always push each other’s buttons an speak badly to eachother , it will never work x

They will never be separate as she won’t let him be with anyone else. She only wants him when he’s with someone else and seems to get off making him obsessed with her. This episode she said how unfortunate it was that he had feelings for her yet she was hell bent on ruining his last relationship. She’s horrendous. I used to quite like her in the first season but she is so self entitled and deflective I honestly can’t stand her anymore. She’s the sort of person who won’t get anywhere in life but it will always be everyone else’s fault apart from hers. Her kids are on their way to being completely fucked up. Brooklyn’s teeth are a mess because she won’t get rid of his dummy, her baby always looks filthy and it’s clear that she just can’t be arsed to do a anything about it. She doesn’t even have the excuse of work. Also crying about not wanting to be a single mum...errr she isn’t. Out of all of them Ste seems to be the most hands on!!

Have to agree with you . She’s a single woman not a single parent . And yes very true it’s like a broken record she either moans that ste wants her and she doesn’t want him and says he needs to get over her or she’s crying that she wants him . I think she’s got a lot of issues but find it weird that she didn’t seem like that when the programme began . And yes I agree with the kids . Brooklyn can’t even speak clearly on the recent episodes and is 4! And he looks like he’s going to be one of those kids in school who is always known as the smelly kid, uncut hair, covered in mess and the dummy thing is ridiculous x
 
Like all of you, I just cannot get over Brooklyn going to school with a dummy in his mouth! Words just fail me!
I know we’ve speculated about whether he’s got additional needs, but even if he does Amber needs to step up and support his development NOT hinder it further! I say this as I have a daughter with developmental delays - she’s 13 and still has a Taggie blanket comforter but she knows that this stays in her bed and is only for sleeping with now.
Reasoning with any child is hard but you have to just stick with it and be consistent. Amber is failing her poor boys, especially Brooklyn, and it’s so sad 😞

I was watching session 6 before and Ste said he has a job but his hours are cut. I don't know about now, if he's still there. This was when Amber was Pregnant with her 2nd baby

I only recently allowed my 7yo to try lemonade and (no sugar) cola. And even then she doesn’t get it every day especially cola cuz of the caffeine. My younger one has had sips here and there but doesn’t like the fizz. Along with the dummy, Brooklyn’s teeth don’t stand a chance. I’d also be concerned about bullying if the other kids see he still has a dummy.
