I’m only on the uk showings but I can totally imagine Amber. She’s a complete narcissist who doesn’t think that she does anything wrong and anything questioned she blames on past trauma. I’m sorry but she has made many many mistakes since her trauma and has countless therapy. She is a tit mother I wonder who she actually models what a mother should be on? She has neither child in her care and her eldest is voicing how she feels! For Amber to shoot her down makes her NOT a good mother at all! I honestly want to know where Amber gets that she is a good mother from?
Leah is still a child but she is much more aware if she had just Gary and Kristina she would have a much more normal life but Amber is a dead weight for her and only wanting to cause more issues. Hi is telling Amber she is a good mother though seriously?

This is it yeah shes had trauma in her life but she's also caused trauma for her child and that needs addressing for leahs sake. 1 episode leah was basically saying Amber just gave birth to her that's it she's not been there and Kristina is more like her mom. In a therapy session Amber's therapist said something I can't remember what exactly and she was like "o I know I'm a good mom I'm a great mom blah blah blah" just doesn't seem to be any acknowledgement from her about how her actions have affected leah, it's all about how hard Amber has had it and therefore leah should just let it go.

Even her brother, normally her biggest supporter and enabler has had enough-that says a lot I think. But it’s too late now, she is too far gone and will have a horrible life, esp when TMOG finally gets booted-I have a very hard time believing that any of them a) invested in appropriately diverse businesses and property, b) have the ability to get a job of the same salary, c) paid their taxes.
 
Only just got round to watching episode 10. Ty seems troubled about her daughter asking questions about his Dad. More than I've seen before. He is a millions times better than his Dad but seems worried he is not good enough. That is awful. I never say perfect as to me, it doesnt exist, but he does seem to worry more atm.
As for Amber jesus just stop. End her being on the show, it's not helping her. Leah for a 12 year old knows so much. Her and Bentley are very good at seeing the truth with their AWOL parent.
 
We all know Amber is trash but I really want to know where this whole ‘I’m a damn good mom’ narrative comes from and why Gary an Kristina seem to be up her ass so much and never tell her straight.. It makes me think that she must help out a lot with money than maybe she has to? possibly? and that’s why she seems to think it’s ok to not be present in leahs life and why Gary lick asses her so much and creeps. Could this be the reason? They should never have had her back on the show after the first time getting charged with domestic violence and all the things they witnessed even before that. Shocking!

I don’t think she gives them money, they seem to live a simple life and aren’t flashy with anything. I think Amber is probably the type to be mean with cash as well. I think Amber was saying something before about letting Kristina clean her hues and paying her? I don’t know why Gary still gives her so many chances, I always thought he felt sorry for her and did it to keep her present in leahs life.
I agree they definitely shouldn’t have had her back but they probably thought it would be a good narrative and she would make something of her life, not go the other way.

Also, Cheyenne just got engaged. Shock.
 
We’ve all had our traumas in life, and it makes us want to be better parents to our children and make sure they don’t go through the same things we did, Amber does not give a duck about anyone but herself. I was a fan of hers thinking it was all mental health, then the Andrew scenario went down, sorry hun, once could be a mistake (with Gary) but twice! It was the whole repeating of ‘I’m a good mom!’ No Amber; you’re literally just trying to convince yourself. Listen to what your 12 year old is telling you and try and make things right! Leah has given her so many chances, I don’t blame her of washing her hands of her mother. Gary and Kristina are amazing and when I started watching them on 16&Pregnant, I’d never have thought Gary would become superdad! Leah has her family, now only her mother can fix their relationship. Ambers family need to stop enabling her and tell her the bleeping harsh reality of what she’s doing to her children. Rant over😂

Yeah they own a house and big plot of land though and Gary doesn’t even work? I think kristinas only recently started training in medical field apparently but don’t think she worked before then.. So they are getting that money from somewhere? they don’t get paid the same as the main cast members.

Never even thought about it actually. I saw the post about Kristina training but even if they both are unemployed, I don’t think Amber would be carrying them completely. They probably get a bit in child support from her for Leah. I know in summer they have started making and selling food like pies and cakes and selling fresh veg they have drown but I doubt that’s a huge income. Oh and the income from TM. They are in it as much as the rest of them so they must get a fair bit from that? I’ll give it a Google today when I’m bored at work and see if Gary works
 
I doubt Gary and Kristina get much of Amber. Gary gets paid the same as the original mums per episode he is in and worked normal jobs most of the time. They also invested in property. I think Kristina, like a lot of parents decided once Emmy was a little older that it was time to retrain after taking time to take care of her family. Amber also stopped paying child support for ages-and if I remember correctly they had to go to court to get it. I bet similar things have happened over the years. Genuinely I think G&K want Leah and Amber to have a healthy relationship, they both grew up in less than stable homes and don’t want the same for the children-soon Leah will have the choice to see her, or not.
