My friend's daughter worked at the big car park merch outlet on Saturday - queue was 2 hours long! Total taken that day was £800,000......! Some parents spending £500 with no issue and one mother buying one tee in every size for her young daughter so she would still have a tee to wear when she is grown up! She is a huge Swiftie so jumped at the chance of working at the merch outlet but she couldn't really get near to hear the show as security stopped anyone without a ticket going up the steps. But she had seen the show on the 1st Wembley Leg.

I think had I actually managed to get to a show, I would have bought something as a keepsake, but I think because I didn't get to go, part of my brain is like "why do we need something from a tour we didn't even go to?" But I have honestly had a great time just watching grainy livestreams and kind of want something to commemorate that?

tldr: I'm a stereotypical indecisive libra 😅

The only reason I justify it is because I love wearing tour merch/band tees cropped with a midi or maxi skirt, otherwise there’s no chance I’m spending that much on something for bed which is why I’m so devo about the sizing of the eras shirt 😭

I got the crewneck and a tshirt in small, both a little oversized but fit well. Ordered one of the new jumpers and tshirts, again both in small. The jumper is massively oversized, almost dress like and the shirt is very fitted to the point where I should’ve got a medium as I wanted a little bit of room 😅🙈

I really wish they’d include measurements, I’m just pure guessing here. I learnt the hard way when I ordered a M/L 1989 cardigan and again it’s literally a dress 😂
 
You’re all so much more knowledgeable than me…thoughts on the Chinese pressing of Long Pond Studios? I’m seeing it in a few places online for under €150. I’m desperate for a copy of it.

Should be fine yeah, I almost bought it myself when it was initially released but I’ve spent too much money this summer

I was in 143 really near the front. My obstructed view wasn’t obstructed at all
 
I know money is tight but for anyone deliberating whether to get a piece of merch: I just found my 2013 Red Tour t-shirt rolled uphidden within in my concert t-shirts and got so emotional. How much has changed since then! I was in uni, thought I was with the person I'd be with forever (LOL) and just starting out in my 20s.
It's amazing how a t-shirt can evoke so many memories. I can't wait to do that with my Eras tour t-shirt in another 10 years 🖤
 
Back home from what was an amazing couple of days. We spent Monday afternoon/evening in Wembley trading bracelets and catching the concert from outside. It was seriously loud and we could hear it from where we were staying. Long live is one of my favourite songs so I’m happy I could hear it sort of live and can’t really complain as we had some amazing surprises!

Raye was a great pre opener- I didn’t know much of her music before but I definitely will be listening now. Paramore were amazing! The Only Exception has been one of my favourite songs since I was about 11 so I’m elated I got to hear it live (although it did mean my voice was already going before the main event 😅). I love Hayley Williams!

Everything Taylor did was fabulous! I still can’t believe I actually got to see her live.

Don’t want to conspire too much about future announcements as we got so much already but during 22 she signed 25. Could this imply Rep TV is coming next year as the other day she did a 20 so that makes 2025- plus it’d fit the format of new album one year re records the next. Also Kam’s ‘get out of ma pub’ was hilarious.

I wanted some of it to be a surprise as I’ve watched the movie a few times now, so I didn’t actually watch much of the ttpd set prior so didn’t realise Florida wasn’t on the set list until my sister excitedly screamed she’s signing Florida. Then Florence came out which was an even better surprise. I actually really like Florida and hearing the two of them singing together was lovely.

I was so excited when she brought Jack on and they recreated the getaway car bit from Miss Americana- although I was seriously clowning when she asked if they should do it! So Long London was perfect to finish with.

We didn’t even attempt to leave immediately after Karma due to the massive crowd which meant we got to hear and catch glimpses of the ICDIWABH music video through the crowd. Can’t wait to watch it properly later!

Overall it was a brilliant experience and I’m not quite sure what to do with myself now it’s over 😂🤣.

You should try and look on Vinted for a smaller size! Some people do take the piss and price it for more expensive than they bought it but if you sold yours on there too it would balance out a bit
