The European leg of the Era's tour has ended 😟

It started in Paris and what a surprise we had instore with the inclusion of the Tortured Poets set

RIP to The Archer, 'tis the damn season, Tolerate it, Long Live, The 1, The Last Great American Dynasty who were all sacrificed to gods of our bluest days!

Whilst there were many amazing surprises along the way its wasn't with out its trials and tribulations the attack in Southport on the poor little girls at the Taylor themed party, the stalker in Germany and the terror threat that lead to the Vienna shows being cancelled.

Clowning was on point throughout mainly for Rep TV, be it sneaky hearts next to dates on a list, 3,2,1 theories, specific dates, 100th show, last show of the Europe leg you name it we clowned it - put the wigs and make up back in the clown car gang (at least for a couple of days anyway 😆)

Taylor has worked her way through the majority of her back catalogue, sadly saving I did something bad for so long did not = Rep TV release.

N8: Florida!!! added to the TTPD set and performed with Florence, 🎸 Death By A Thousand Cuts/Getaway Car with Jack Antonoff, 🎹So Long London got played in all its glory in full on the piano as was as beautiful as expected and as a last little treat Taylor debuted the music video for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart as everyone was leaving the stadium then fully released it 30 minutes later

What happens now?

Friday 6th September - NFL Season kicks off Chiefs vs Baltimore Ravens in KC

Wednesday 11th September - VMA's - Taylor is nominated for Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Best Art Direction, Best Editing

Friday 18th October - Tour restarts in Miami - will Florida!!! stay in the setlist for these shows?

Took a break, going to write this then go back on a Tattle break haha but holy fuck. I feel like I’ve got a hangover from last might, my voice sounds like I’ve been smoking 2 packs day for 30 years, I’ve had about 5 hours sleep . I don’t know what I did right in my life for that moment but I’m so grateful and happy, I was blessed with the best night of the eras tour ever in my opinion. I think I’m in this Taylor shit for life, I have eternal bragging rights over last night I think. My life has been made!

Genuinely last night was one of the best nights of my life. 🥹🩷 I was in block 142 so had amazing seats but obviously not much sitting went on! My voice is basically gone, I’m not sure if I got more than a few hours sleep and my feet are swollen but I am buzzing with happiness. It was such an amazing atmosphere and truly an awesome experience.
Other fans were so lovely and friendly and it made the night even better.
Worth every penny!
 
As an oldie, I'm bemused that people on twitter are moaning that her music video isn't enough. She's done 131 3.5 hour tours that have all been livestreamed with different surprise songs each night plus special guests at time and also released a whole new album which she incorporated into the set......all of which is available online. Not to go all you young uns don't know how lucky you are (cos I hate that - life is tough for the young) but I used to have to wait and hope that my fave band might be on top of the pops for a few seconds on a Thursday night and that was pretty much all we got!!!!!!!
 
Now this leg is over I’m praying she adds the white colour print tee to the website. I got the wrong size and it’s so big it’s unwearable. Don’t want to have paid £40 for a night shirt 😭
 
Yeah merch is definitely oversized. I bought a medium in the tshirt (I am about a size 14, maybe 16 on the boobs) and it's still got loads of room, though I wanted it oversized for bed, I am not a wear merch out in public kind of girl!

This is exactly why I having been going back and forth over buying merch! I probably wouldn't wear it anywhere except my own home, which is fine, but then I also think it's overpriced for merch that realistically is only going to see my bedroom and the kitchen (and possibly the living room 🤣)

So I'm stuck in a vicious circle of putting things in my basket and then not actually checking out, only to regret it later 😅

I think had I actually managed to get to a show, I would have bought something as a keepsake, but I think because I didn't get to go, part of my brain is like "why do we need something from a tour we didn't even go to?" But I have honestly had a great time just watching grainy livestreams and kind of want something to commemorate that?

tldr: I'm a stereotypical indecisive libra 😅
 
I was sitting next to some hardcore Swifties last night which was a vibe as at the previous shows, the people seated near me weren’t the swiftiest. I was in 101 -were any of you in that section? 👀

When Florida started, everyone sang along for a good while totally confused as to what song this was. We all seemed to realise what was happening at the same time and then the screaming started and I was begging everyone to be quiet so I could hear Florence. The only downside of being near the other swifties is the screaming of the lyrics but small price to pay for the good vibes.

We stayed until the end to air drop some videos with an american swiftie sitting behind us and watch the MV so Wembley Way was fun. Although, the crush was petty well managed and we got out in reasonable time.

We got there around 4pm and it was the busiest I’ve seen. This was the first time we had to queue to get into the stadium. The queue was looooong but like a Primark queue -looked deathly but actually moved quite fast. There were queues for the loos when we got in which we didn’t have before. Obviously it’s roughly the same amount of people each night but I think the difference this time was that more people got there early for door opening rather than staggered hence the queues to get in and use the loo.

What an amazing summer. I can’t believe I went from having no tickets to going three times. I kicked myself so hard for not realising I could get a midnights code without buying the album but it all worked out in the end and I will never make that mistake again! I now know that that no purchase necessary actually means no purchase necessary

I don’t know what I’m going to do in October. I will probably watch some of the first show in Miami and then go back to watching clips when I wake up after that. I feel a bit bereft.
