Hope it’s ok to share this, it proper tugged on my heartstrings. This little girl has really complex health problems and I saw her mum comment that they suspect she has sepsis which is why she got poorly and missed most of the show.
Let’s raise it as much as we can so she can go again!

I’ve given up on trying to find us tickets now, I just can’t justify £300+ a ticket when there are 4 of us here who want to go and the seats aren’t great, plus I’m wary of being knocked back even if we did get tickets. The weans will be greetin’ lol.
It’s my husband’s birthday today (he’s something of a Swiftie himself) so we’re just going to do something else as a family today. We’ll just have to hope she comes back again sometime

I'm sat all alone in the office (we have hybrid working, no idea why they can't let us wfh on Saturdays, but upper management says they "need" at least one person in the office on Saturdays. Spoiler: they do not

Anyway, I've been looking on etsy for Taylor merch because although I like a lot of the official items, I don't love them and I'm not sure how much use I would get out of them other than to use as nightshirts/clothes you wear when you're not planning on leaving the house
Long story short, I forgot to check the uk stores only box and now I've falled in love with a tbd shirt from an American etsy seller! (BananaStandStudios) With the price of shipping onto the actual shirts, they work out as the same price as official merch, but it might have to be done!
The shop also make super cute tour date/location shirts with the names of the surprise songs on the back that maybe some people here would be interested in? They've not done any Edinburgh ones yet, bit it looks like they probably will.
And they made a Folklore cardigan for cats/dogs if anyone's in the market for one

Gang, I just got 2 tickets to Wembley N1 on Viagogothey’re decent ones too and weren’t massively overpriced either!! The other available tickets in the same section are almost 5x the price.
Obviously I am now completely freaking out that I’ve been scammed but the guarantee seems pretty foolproof?? Absolutely dying as it’s also Robot Daughter’s 11th birthday!
I haven’t told anyone yet, had to swipe money from my savings so that husband doesn’t freak out. My savings fund is strictly for emergencies so this counts right? Right?!?!? Someone please validate my impulsive decision!

im tempted to get my parents dog the cardi, my dog wouldn’t wear it. But their dog is tiny and she needs it in winter!

Last night was amazing!!! Wowwww. Anyone waiting to go to their first show still, you will have a blast! It was just incredible.
Murrayfield - freeeezing cold. I was shaking for all of paramore and the start of Taylor. Layer up if you’re going. Doors open at 4 and there were big queues, then merch queue was about 45 minutes long. There’s heaps of food stalls but queues are massive and if you have dietary requirements I’m not sure how great choices are. I’m vegan and couldn’t see many things well labelled and when I got to the front of a queue and ordered they said they weren’t making that option (even though it was on the board
). I didn’t want to miss paramore so just settled for chips and was starving. If you’re not vegan I’m sure you’ll have no problems but if you are, have a big meal before you go. Toilet queues were insane before the show but if you go to the one on upper level ones the queue was much smaller.
It didn’t start to get dark until the last couple of songs but it was no big deal, it was still amazing just a shame couldn’t see all the bracelets light up much. The sun got so bright as the evening went on, so take some good sunglasses or a cap- I could barely see it one point it was so bright and my sunglasses are rubbish.
Surprise songs… wcs was my top 3 I wanted played. I was so overwhelmed I started singing along straight away but didn’t register what song it was until the chorus then I nearly cried
she had to stop to help someone and was singing along “I’m going to just sing that someone needs help until they get help” and it was really funny. Then her hand cramped and she made that really funny too. I didn’t want mashups but honestly it didn’t matter on the night. She pretty much sang all of wcs anyway so it didn’t feel like a mashup. Daylight was lovely and also a top choice for me. So pleased with the surprise songs!
I now feel hungover and my whole body aches. I didn’t even drink any alcohol so many people in the audience needed help and she kept having to point them out… probably all the people who queued from 5.30 and didn’t drink anything so they could stay in their spot. Got a bit annoying her songs being interrupted but obviously she has to make sure they’re ok and she’s amazing for that!

Oh also. My boyfriend isn’t a huge swiftie but he surprised himself as he knew most the songs (from me playing them constantly) and he bopped along. I think he’s developed a new crush on Taylor. He very much liked when she stripped down to her white outfit during ttpd and the midnights chair dance

Last night was everything.
I have no words.
But if you're taking children (I took my six year old) - it was absolutely freezing. She had thermals, her dress, tights, a fleece and her denim jacket and she was still shaking. Don't get me wrong - she had the best time. But by the time we got back to the car she was frozen solid her wee hands were bright ree.
If you are going please take a big jacket. I know you've spent time on an outfit but it honestly was the only thing I struggled with was how cold even I was. If you're taking kids please take a proper winter coat and gloves for them. It's the length of time you're in the cold and wind for that's the problem.
Other than that have the most amazing night. I'm away to cry into my pillow and nurse the banging headache I have (I didn't drink a thing and I feel hungover and everything hurts) and wait for my voice to come back

I just told my husband to please buy me some chicken wine for the livestream tonight and he’s gone and reminded me that we have tickets to see Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer tonight!!

It’s not usually this cold in June, that wind has made it feel colder. I was freezing yesterday and that was in Glasgow, the Edinburgh winds looked stronger tbh. Definitely bring layers it’s not worth being freezing or getting sick ❤
