It didn't seem like the whole Taylor and politics conversation really picked up during that time - mostly because it was linked to that tweet about her bodyguard (which he wasn't and it was pointed out in the twitter convos) going back to fight in Israel, the earliest article I can find is dated 16th October for context but it seemed to pick up more steam around the 20th - but I fully expected the stans to use this story and her friendships as an example of why Taylor isn't supporting Israel if it came to it

I don't have a strong opinion on whether she should speak about the whole thing tbh, but I do think it's icky that nothing was done to shut down the Israel Twitter account from name dropping random celebs

I always think it's nice if celebs amplify good causes, but in this case you'd have to be a hermit not to know what's happening. If you're pro-Israel it's unlikely shiksa Taylor coming out and staunchly supporting Palestine will change your mind. There's nothing for her to gain (other than publicly being on the humane side of history) and Taylor so rarely does anything that doesn't somehow relate to herself and leaves her in a better position. Like even when she spoke up about politics she did it partly because her trial opened her eyes to what's going on. It always has to relate back to her. Her entire world view is Taylor centric. So I don't expect her to say anything, nope. And I'm not even sure it'd do any good.
 
Swifties, I did some very scientific research on my long run this morning, and my conclusion is ‘duck ME Taylor Swift is fit’ 😂

Thank god for the fact I run on quiet paths in the arse end of nowhere so that I can report back 🫡 my run wasn’t long enough for the full gig so I kinda picked random songs:
- MA&THBP was vaguely manageable but was also right at the start
- screaming cruel summer bridge whilst running is a 10/10 experience
- Fearless/champagne problems was surprisingly okay
- don’t blame me/LWYMMD was near on impossible 🤣
- 10 min all too well is so engrossed in my brain I think I could do that whilst asleep. Also very therapeutic
- shake it off was HARD
- most of Midnights (fave album) turned into me mouthing the words rather than actually singing cos knackered 😂

I’m going to do it again in a few weeks as a fitness test as I get deeper into mara training but in conclusion I would quite like to be as fit as Tay thanks

On another note, my Christmas Tree Farm jumper arrived from the Sunday dream and it’s soooo cosy!!!
 
i too would overuse a private jet if i was global pop superstar Taylor Swift with countless stalkers? like do you think she's just gonna hop on the subway??? even if she was driven to most of these locations she's jetting to it would still duck the environment up with the amount of cars that need to escort her/her team and surround the vehicle she's in. plus the sheer size of the states ffs acting like it's England where it takes 5 hours max to get to the other side of the country but hey ho we're not setting the best example either with all the politicians who fly around the country

she uses her jet excessively though, more than any other celebrity, and that’s the issue people have.
 
I've concluded that Reputation TV is being announced/coming out on 1st January 2024.
New year's Day, song on reputation. What date is Nyd? 1st January. Recent post from Taylor nation, "These days we haven't been sleeping". Reference to 22-"it feels like one of those nights, we won't be sleeping". What date is 22 days from today? New year's Day, January 1st. Also think how iconic it would be to drop/announce one of the fans favourite albums on the 1st day of the new year. I am more than likely reaching here but hey ho 😂

I'd love it if she dropped Rep TV without that much fanfare. But of course then how would she sell us 387 "limited edition" versions that can only be preordered for X hours and then become all available again making them pointless? 🥴
 
The Royals use commercial planes. Many very famous people fly in first class. She could easily buy out first class cabin for her and her team if she’s that concerned, it would probably be cheaper than how much it costs to maintain two jets. There are private lounges she can use, separate security lines, private chaffeur services that could basically drive her to the plane. There’s no excuse for how excessive her plane use is.
 
I also suspect that a lot of her jet use is just because she wants to go stay in another house or meet a friend and not because it’s necessary for her work

I never fully understood why she doesn’t just fully settle down in one of her houses. The whole stalker reasoning doesn't make much sense because she’s going to have security around anyway


Also yeah, I think we forget or just don’t know how private the VIP commercial flight experiences can be

She needn’t bother, after forgetting that a large part of the Chiefs fan base are women and insulting us with the whole dads, Brads and Chads snarky comment, I don’t care if I don’t see her on my screen at Arrowhead or not, she’s got on my last nerve, and needs to humble her arse a little.

When in the Time interview they were talking about the reaction to her being shown a lot on screen during NFL games she replied “I’m just there to support Travis,” “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.” Surely not the one who wrote The Man and forever showing she’s a girls girl forgetting that NFL fans can also be women and not just males, because she actually pissed off a few fair of us who don’t have balls an all. I still maintain she knows where the camera is and plays up to it too.

To be fair would you have preferred her to say a few Karens, Dads, Brads, and Chads? I think it’s less about her understanding that there is a large percentage of fans that are women and more about a generalizing the immediate anger/annoyance at her presence to stereotypical mouth breathing dude bro nfl fans that the nfl and networks like espn largely markets to. Why piss on female sports fans when they’re already not taken very seriously by the industries? No need for that.
