I think I've blown through excitement, being overwhelmed, disappointment, annoyance, and now I'm exhausted, and the day isn't even over! It's not all Taylor related, I've had a mare of a day, (unexpected guests, had to go track down our indoor only cat after kids let her out by accident, and slow puncture on one of our car tyres to name but a few!) I like the new tracks, but feel something is lacking. I just felt there would be more I suppose. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood! I thought the deluxe would have more, maybe I just believed the double album theories too much.

Also I bought two vinyls on preorder, one for me and one for my nephew for his birthday, and only one has shipped so far 😭
 
I’m nominating this as the worst piece of Taylor merch (I’ve never bought any so I’m objective 😂). £30 for this mug, I had to Google what Jack Leopards was! Graphic design is their passion indeed!

Interesting that she references that she always saw 1989 as a “new york album” since she changed the aesthetic of it all, seemingly specifically because Slut is a “California” song to her? If it hasn’t already been confirmed is it safe to say that’s going to be the single?
