I feel like the director asked her to be looking at her phone during her line just so she had something non awkward to do with her hands
She did graduate from uni I believe it was either business or marketing, she could always work for gleam for other talent and flip the roles if she obviously realizes this isnt working for her and if they give her a job, I do think you need a lot of passion and motivation for these kind of job roles and she lacks it, she seems to me like someone who has really high highs and really low lows.I wonder what her long-term goals are. Instagram is not likely to make her money that much longer, maybe for another couple of years? And then what? Her acting career obviously won't go anywhere, is there anything else she can *actually* do? Did she go to uni? Maybe take on a normal job? What do you guys think?

Another thing is she has mentioned shes been in therapy since she was 14 yrs old and still continues to see the same therapist so basically half her life. Now we dont know whats going on there but wouldnt she stop going once she was better? Is that therapist helping her or feeding her what she wants to hear, nonetheless i think that therapist may also be someone who influences her a lot we just dont know in what way or what extent
I would be most grateful if she could discuss with her therapist her addiction to eye bleeping herself all the bleeping time and then posting it on the internet. The world would be a much better place if she just stopped. Thank youAh so she does have some options there, though I honestly can't see her have a normal job right now. Like you said, she lacks motivation and passion. I can imagine her getting super excited for a new job and then after a couple of weeks it gets so normal she starts slacking.
I don't think it's wrong to stay in therapy even when you are feeling better, some people do better knowing they have someone to fall back upon. Some people do really well for a while and then all of a sudden it gets worse again. I don't see anything wrong with that. If it helps her, then good for her. Though I do wonder if a therapist who she has seen for half her life now is still able to help her. Sometimes a pair of fresh eyes can do a lot.
I didn;t realise she had been to uni! I think (hope) this stupid influencer thing will end soon so I doubt working for gleam etc would be an option. She did graduate from uni I believe it was either business or marketing, she could always work for gleam for other talent and flip the roles if she obviously realizes this isnt working for her and if they give her a job, I do think you need a lot of passion and motivation for these kind of job roles and she lacks it, she seems to me like someone who has really high highs and really low lows.

I don;t get why she stopped doing her makeup range? or did it do really badly?Ah she studied to become a MUA? I think it would be better for her long-term to maybe start working as a MUA, that way she can still be an ~influencer~ on IG and maybe show looks she has done and work on those films/series without letting us suffer through her horrible acting
Ohhh I could have sworn in her earlier videos there was a vlog or something with her finishing school maybe im wrong, theres no videos for us to go back to look onShe DID NOT go to uni. (It's ok not to go, people follow different paths in education/career but she certainly did not get a university degree)

Yes, and the concern is if that therapist has been with her for so long how is tanya going to handle it when she retires, the goal is to help her be ok on her own and to also transition her maybe to someone else before she retires because seeing a therapist for so long and then one day theyre not there could take a toll on a patients mental health as wellI didn;t realise she had been to uni! I think (hope) this stupid influencer thing will end soon so I doubt working for gleam etc would be an option.
Seeing a therapist for so long is really weird, I have seen therapists at various points in my life and all of them have said the goal is basically to stop you needing to see them as they give you the tools to help yourself, then you just go back if you need anything later
So 'Two-line Tanya' is next thread title right?
Im glad she's been going to therapy but starting it at age 14 and going solidly until now seems unusual unless she had a severe issue we dont know aboutAh so she does have some options there, though I honestly can't see her have a normal job right now. Tanya worked at Clinique counter and was told to drop Youtube by them, so she quit/was fired.Yep. She didn't go to uni. The poster who thought she remembered a video about it might be thinking of when Tanya and Jim went to Natasha's graduation several years ago? There was a video all about that.
I'm struggling to remember where Tanya actually studied makeup apart from Jim's sisters? Does anyone remember? I recall her working at several coffee shops and being fired for being clumsy and not caring, and then I think Jim's mum helped get her a job in Jarrold's as she worked/works as a stylist. I think Tanya was fired from a couple of different beauty counters as well whilst there.
Not a great record!
