I’m m just getting ready and it’s just started thundering here (I’m about half an hour away from Notts) fingers crossed it doesn’t last long!!Well we got here and it was sunny, but the thunder and rain has arrived Hopefully it won't last!
That’s a good shout actually so I’ve just done the same!Incase of Rain i've just ordered my program online. £2.75 more but I dont have to worry it'll get wet plus carrying it can be a pain.
I'm 10 mins from ground and we've had no Thunder yet and past couple of hours only brief spits of Rain
Always happens at TT, I had a weird woman accuse me of kicking her seat. I was amused as i've little legs So I had to stretch them to kick it as I gave it a try after she left hahaOlly Murs isn’t usually for me but he was actually really good, really enjoyed it. And obviously Take That were brilliant as always. Excellent show ♥ The only negative I have to say were the amount of women who were so leathered they started to ruin the show for everyone else. Shouting, falling about, pushing in and generally being a nuisance. Also had someone vomiting all over the floor and we had to avoid standing in it the whole night!
I think I've seen it at every TT gig I've been to with pitch standing.Olly Murs isn’t usually for me but he was actually really good, really enjoyed it. Makes no sense at all. The woman nearest us was so drunk she was starting to sleep stood up!I think I've seen it at every TT gig I've been to with pitch standing.
I find it so weird. Why spend a fortune on a ticket then get so wasted, you miss everything. Also seen absolutely blotto women being removed by the police.
I think I've only been on the pitch once at a TT gig and that was the Progress tour. I have never seen so many people absolutely off their faces, throwing up, spilling bottles of wine etc. So many of them not even looking at the stage too! Totally spoilt it for me and I don't like stadium gigs for that reason. I always go for seated and in stadiums that feels a little bit too far away to feel included in the atmosphere.Makes no sense at all. Starting to think people have more money than sense. They’re going because it’s a ‘go-to’ show and not because they’re true fans. They would rather spend the duration off their faces!I think I've only been on the pitch once at a TT gig and that was the Progress tour. Having said that, I've also noticed that a huge number of people with seated tickets never stand up, especially the higher up the seats go. I was back row a couple of times and no one stood up except for a couple of songs near the end! I try to sit down but just want to dance and it feels awkward seat dancing! I get some people can't stand for physical/medical reasons but it can't be the case for everyone.
I’ve seen girls crouching down to have a piss before now on pitch standing!I think I've only been on the pitch once at a TT gig and that was the Progress tour. I don't care, I'm up and dancing usually by the first song. If I've paid a lot of money for a ticket, I'm enjoying myself whoever is sat behind me. Fortunately the only time we've been asked to sit down was at a Cher gig back in the 90s. And no we didn't.I think I've only been on the pitch once at a TT gig and that was the Progress tour. Agree with this, we moved to the back as the women next to us were absolutely hammered and falling all over us and we couldn’t see.Olly Murs isn’t usually for me but he was actually really good, really enjoyed it. It’s given me food for thought definitely. I’m glad I tried it because it’s the closest I’ve ever been to Take That but I think in future I’ll go back to arenas and/or seating. I want to enjoy a show not worry about pushing, shoving or having someone vom on my toes!Agree with this, we moved to the back as the women next to us were absolutely hammered and falling all over us and we couldn’t see.
Once at the back we actually had a great view and tons of room to dance. Had a fantastic time!
My first concert was in 1993, I was 11 and paid £15 for tickets on 4th row from the front. I didn't really know who they were, but my cousin was a massive fan and my auntie rang up and got tickets for us. They weren't different prices back then and you didn't get a choice of where to sit... We were just lucky that my auntie got through the phone lines early on!It’s given me food for thought definitely. Those were the good old days - 1994 was my first - I was kind of near the B stage so wet my pants when they did the Beatles medley. Looking back I wasn’t kind of near at all - could just about make out Robbie’s shaved headMy first concert was in 1993, I was 11 and paid £15 for tickets on 4th row from the front. I have seen so many bands in my time and I’ve seen Take That a few times now and that was by far the worst gig I’ve been too for people throwing up/being too drunk etc. I’m all for everyone having a good time I’m not a party pooper but so many people were being removed by stewards or dragged out to sit down it just seems pointless. Maybe I’m showing my age but why spend £80 plus on a ticket to not see all the show or remember it.It’s given me food for thought definitely.
