So the original post about Ells bf calling syd a cunt was right!!! Perhaps their info stemmed from the same person mine did (take that as you will!) 👀👀👀

you Can see why it looks like other influencers have come across as more supportive of syd, as she really is the “victim” (used that term loosely). But, how she’s behaved recently has really shown that ells bf ain’t wrong!!!

I am just confused though because after being friends for so long, and being business partners, would you not just forgive and makeup? GrantedI would be mega fuming if my bestie and her bf were slagging me off, but you’d be throwing away so much????

Noo I think there’s more to it then this knowing syd she loves to play the victim and loves attention she’d already called him out and made a fuss about alll this to get all of us in her corner lmao but I’m telling you there’s more to this and it goes deep … her distancing herself from her lifetime bestie and her family that she considered them her family and alll that .. & also about her bf not wanting her to be an influencer ??? I swear he’s got a talent company surly that’s social media related soo he don’t want her to be one but he wants to be one lolzzz..no about that one.

Everyone proper drags Syd but if my longtime best friend (and business partner) was slagging me off to her boyfriend, and he called me the C word, I’d be absolutely devastated.

Quite clearly Ell has been slagging Syd off enough for her boyfriend to go right in there with that insult (or maybe he’s just vile), and if I was in her shoes I would be surrounding myself with new friends, both to cheer myself up and to replace someone who I thought I was best friends with who talks about me like shit.

If Ell didnt want this lifestyle anymore as she has her amazing MUA career, thats totally fine. But this seems like a shitty way to do it.
 
Unpopular opinion but I would much prefer to watch Syd, Ell to me is just super boring and dull alsoooo slightly irritating. None the less I still feel really sorry for her because feeling excluded and left out is one of the worse feelings! And although she is probs pretending like she doesn’t want to be at these events etc she will definitely be feeling isolated, which I wouldn’t wish on anybody. Especially when it’s plastered all over social media.
Hope they can both just make up and move on with their lives, but end of the day it’s going to be hard for either of them to make a brand for themselves as we all know them as a duo… it’s like watching Ant without Dec and vice versa, they’re a duo, they bounce off each other. And molly can (in the most polite way) piss off mannn she grinds my gears, who does she think she is?

Omg I completely forgot that Syd posted a story at Ell’s house a few weeks into their ‘hiatus’ !! I wonder if the initial hiatus was a break from youtube and they were gonna pick it up again and the situation with Ell’s boyfriend happened after Syd was at Ell’s house? Hence her getting very bitchy from that point onwards

That’s what I wondered! Can’t begin to imagine the awkward argument after syd saw that text pop up!
 
Can I just say tonights thread has given me severe PTSD flashbacks of the time I left my phone beside a coworker and another girl from our office texted me calling her a Self absorbed twat 😩🤭🤣 At the time I had a Samsung phone that scrolled the message preview at the top of the screen even when locked. Girl 1 saw her name in the message and kept reading 🤧 A huge slanging match then ensued with screaming, tears etc with me caught in middle.. Horrendous 🤧🤣🤣
 
I haven’t watched their channel for ages (to be fair, I don’t really watch many anymore!) but it’s so telling that I only realised something seemed off when I saw the BinTheStyle photo shoot and thought the pics looked weird then found this thread!!

After so many years of friendship I feel really shocked that these two have fell out. However saying that, something always felt off for me whenever Molly was in the vlogs, I felt like Ell always seemed a bit left out & that Syd treated her differently to other videos?? I always thought I wasn’t sure if it was just me as I’ve been in Ell’s shoes before, but the situation now goes to show it was the way all along. I don’t know about anyone else but I found those videos really difficult to watch?? Three is always a crowd.
 
The thing is, if you look at their channel I really don’t think ell was in her element. Every video was somewhat fashion related which is what syd is into. Yeah ell is a bit bland but that’s maybe because we haven’t seen her in HER element as the spotlight always seemed to be on syd. This is probably the other reason behind why she was more behind the scenes on the YouTube side. If ell did a channel about makeup, something more in her career field I would definitely watch because that was she’s being true to herself if you get me?

As for the whole story about the situation, I do think it’s true and tbf I do slightly feel for syd in the respect of being talked about because my biggest pet peeve is people having an issue with me and not saying it to my face. No one is ever going to know what they do wrong if they aren’t told directly. But I am guilty of offloading my issues onto my partner and I think everyone is. You’ve got to remember, all ell has ever know is syd and her family, she’s finally got someone to vent to. He essentially was an outsider and they see red flags where you yourself don’t.

I will never agree with the way syd has handled things, some things need to stay within a closed circle and doesn’t need airing to every Tom, Dick and Harry. At the end of the day, ell privately bitched about syd and syds just aired ells dirty laundry to every uk influence without thinking about how this will affect ell. Without a doubt, ells mental health right now is probably at a low and I don’t care what anyone says, your love for your best mate doesn’t just go overnight. If they were the besties they made out to be, syd clearly never cared for ell which is evident by the way she has reacted. And for that reason, I stand by the fact that I think syd is in the wrong.
 
Long long long time lurker but I’m just gonna throw all my thoughts out here🤣

1. Els boyfriend was right, Syd is a cunt as she has shown recently.
2. I actually don’t think syd seeing that text is a silly reason for them to fall out and stop working together, I imagine there was a lot more to it and once she’d seen the text it all blew up meaning Ell could tell her how she felt, and let’s be real that was probably brewing for ageeeees
3. Molly is a dickhead, proven from the old vlog where she’s a proper cow to the mcdonalds employee
4. As much as Syd is a little bitch, she has the right personality for the current insta/yt scene and i can see her solo channel actually doing well
5. I was creeping and noticed Ells boyf has the picture of the german girl crying as his insta pic so he’s gone down in my estimations but he’s leng and can cook so Ell still wins
