Omg the potty training pic rattled me. “Just need to remove the nappies and we’re well on our way”. No, you’ve went out and bought a potty and got your kid to sit on it purely so you can share to socials. I can guarantee that child is nowhere near ready for potty training but she just so desperately wants to brag about something else. Funny how it comes weeks after Harleigh potty trained Alora (who is a whole year older). So Syd is trying to claim she went to NYC and within a few days after that she’s basically potty trained Ocean. Sure Jan…
She’s just desperate for her kid to be “so advanced” because she’s such a great mum who takes her kid on a plane every few weeks 🙄
Also it’s TMI. She’s sharing far too much about her kid, I’m sure when Ocean’s older she won’t want an online footprint of her bowel movements as a kid.

I'm sure she was gifted a potty & toilet training info before Ocean was even one & thought she was also ready 🙄. She'll be in for a shock when she realises they'll have to stay in for a few days to really get potty training nailed. She'll be saying she's fully trained but every needless trip to Homesence Ocean will be in a nappy
 
Literally this!! I can guarantee Ocean will still be in nappies by the time she’s two. And that’s fine.

God I can’t stand people like Syd and Hamster. I’ve not looked at either of their content or this thread for a long time but suds NYC with ‘ex best friend’ TikTok’s came up on my FYP.

I just find them and these kinds of people, usually influencer or desperate influencer wannabe’s incredibly cringe and lacking in any real intelligence or morals. All that matters to them is status, having designer items, owning a house and having a baby purely to have as an extension of themselves. Everything is so in your face and their content is made in a way as if to say ‘look at me, I’m better than you all’. When the reality is they’re very likely to be unhappy in their lives, desperately trying to keep up appearances. Even this ‘rekindled’ friendship, Sydney & Mollys friendship ended for a reason. Them rekindling it purely because they both have babies and are settling down is really superficial and inauthentic. You can tell that it’s solely appearance based/strategically motivated.

I also can’t stand how Syd uses her nan for content and to make herself appear charitable. Always claiming she’s booked holidays for her nans sake when it’s always either her being gifted the holiday anyway/it being for a paid sponsorship or she just wanted someone to go on holiday with so she can get holiday content to show off on socials which she then claims is ‘work’. (You don’t need to go on holiday to get content.) And of course now the aspect of her Nan purely being used as a babysitter. I feel sorry for the Nan even though she probably doesn’t see through it and obviously thinks the world of Syd. But I just think ahead to the future when her Nan eventually will need care and help, I don’t see Syd being there for her. I think she’ll be the type of person to immediately put her nan into a nursing home and leave others to care for her. But on social media she would make it seem the opposite and maybe get a brand deal with some expensive, fancy nursing home and claim she’s going above and beyond to get her the best care etc. Syd just strikes me as that type of person. It’s all smoke and mirrors with these kinds of people.

All syd does is boast. I think it’s very unfair that she has her nan look after Ocean, she’s Oceans great nan and has done her job and then some raising syd & her bro. Give the woman a break ffs
 
I find Sydney, more so than other influencers is so desperate for validation from people. She’s constantly trying to look for things to boast about and doesn’t realise it comes across tone deaf, talking about her 3rd property when people are struggling living paycheck to paycheck. And pushing this narrative of how advanced Ocean is, I often wonder if it’s something to do with her childhood/trauma from the situation with her mum where she feels she constantly has to prove herself to people.

That’s crazy, is she embarrassed she didn’t pay for the trip herself?? If you’re that embarrassed, book and pay for yourself?? She went with Liv who put very obvious and clean in every story it was a gifted trip, I honestly thought liv was gifted and Syd paid and tagged along!
