I've thought this for ages but didn't want to say it. I'm conscious that we only see snippets of him in the stuff she shares and speculation isn't little helpful... but Robin reminds me so much of a precious little boy in my life who is a couple of years older but recently diagnosed with autism.

It’s evident with a while that Robin may be showing signs of Autism. No eye contact, not interacting with her while playing and no verbal sounds. The other possibility is that he has a hearing issues and she hasn’t picked up on it. Either way I think she knows something is up and she has passed a few comments about his speech delay and not being worried.
