Because he’s bothered but not. Slightly arsed but same time pulling back from her and acting like he couldn’t give a fuck. She don’t like that. She wants him to be arsed because it’ll show he cares - instead he’s saying calm & backing off. That freaks her out because it confirms he doesn’t really like her that much and she can lose him. He should be jealous. I’m not saying he should forbid her from doing her thing - but he’s that laidback about it that it’s pissing her off more.
