The Catherine switch up is next level.

Hey, I don’t mind it bc I genuinely don’t hate any islander from any season and without a doubt, some of them get it in the neck WAY TOO MUCH (particularly the boys).

But I don’t understand how certain boys never get forgiven for behaviour that honestly doesn’t come close to Catherine’s yet everyone has suddenly decided they love her again. The boys just get dragged to eternity.

Anyways I’m happy for her that the hate has subsided.

i don’t think anyone’s “switched up” ?? there was always people that still supported her -and more specifically scott and catherine together, they never stopped, there’s loads of them and yesterdays reunion just made them even bigger fans. some people stopped liking her and still don’t -not the same group of people: i also think once the show ends people stop holding grudges against the islanders -they don’t care anymore, so it’s not “switching up” they just don’t care enough to hate her anymore plus they can change their minds.

while i stopped liking catherine as much as i did before post casa, i always felt everyone blew things out of proportion and overreacted

I'm sorry what? Boys have so done so much worse than Catherine and they never not even half of the hate that she got. People were not saying that they couldn't wait to see them at the airport and throw them with stuff. There was literally a tweet where someone said that they wish they could shoot Elom and Catherine.

If you've watched Scott and Catherine's interviews, you would realize that everything about her was blown out of proportion.

Scott was the one to call the relationship off the day she came back from casa but it wasn’t shown he also said that they would sit with each other every day so I don’t think it’s a case of she’s just with him because he’s popular

agreed, while she was in the wrong with scott post casa -she was hardly the worst person there or even the second worst but she still got more hate and that’s why she was voted out first. it was so obvious that catherine and scott were on good terms the whole time, you could literally see them with whitney in the backgrounds, yet i saw people call her a liar when she said she had apologised and they were friends in her interview just for scott to come out and confirm it, and he himself defended her, some people are still holding grudges when clearly it was never that deep
 
Catherine isn't into Scott. I don't think she was into anyone. I think she liked Zach best. He preferred Molly. 🤷‍♂️

Recoupling in Casa isn't the issue. She failed to own in. Had she, like countless previous islanders, shown she was genuinely happy in her new couple people would've moved on. I think she got it in her head Scott was recoupling regardless and acted accordingly. When he didn't, she panicked.

Just another superfan who thought she had it all worked out. Lot of them this time round.

I agree with the Catherine part. If Scott was unpopular when she came out she would have happily stayed with Uncle building their empire.
She’s a fake.

It may well be true that she let people get in her head but she didn’t have to react the way she did

Which boys are you referring to? Idk if you’ve watched previous seasons but 90% of the time when a man fucks up everyone forgives him and forgets about it within a few weeks, Liam literally won in 2021 because of it 🤣 Yes Catherine was a prick but imo Tyrique acted 10x worse, yet people are back to loving him already

I agree! The reaction to Catherine was ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong, I completely agree with that. People get too invested and need to take a step back and just enjoy the show for what it is. But 100%, certain boys over the years are ridiculously hated on. I mean I’m talking about the weirdo trolls on Reddit and Twitter so they’re probably not the best benchmark.

True that Liam won…..but people still hate on him 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 If his name is mentioned on Reddit, there is a pile on saying how awful he is, what a mug Millie is etc. it’s ridiculous. I’ve seen it!!
