I wonder if they're worried about Scott's popularity. The ones with brains will have figured out he must be fairly popular with the public after that vote when four actual couples got less votes than him and amber. Him ending it with abi at this stage would end any hope of him being in a real couple come the final vote and lessen his chances of winning.
