I don't get what Whitney was so pissed about tbh. 'Most smug couple' was one of the milder catagories. Most of the others were far worse. At least it implied they actually liked each other.

I feel like Whitney is hurt that the smug comment came from Ella. Other people voted for her but she wasn’t as bothered about them so it hurt coming from her friend. The selfish comment I think was just a last straw for her. I think in her mind she’s bitten back a little on what she thinks about Ella as you tend to be more lenient with your friend’s wrongdoings but because Ella voted her as smug she thinks clearly them being friends doesn’t stop Ella speaking her truth so now what she’s held back is coming out. She’s probably thought Ella was selfish for a while but now she doesn’t care to hold back on it anymore since Ella isn’t. But that’s just what I think may be running in her mind.
If anyone in that villa is smug it’s bloody Ty. He banged on about how he was so loyal in Casa even though he egged every boy (all his little minions) on. He wants to be the best and it’s affecting him that he wasn’t voted favourite. Look how he’s been shouting I love you to Ella across the whole villa since telling her? Now imagine if he was voted favourite, we wouldn’t hear the end of it. He has an inferiority complex and anytime his ego isn’t stroked he turns feral. He’s calculated how many couples go to the final and knows it’ll probably be Zach&Molly (especially as she was brought back), Jess&Sammy (his besties), him and Ella and due to those couples being strong he wants one weak couple as the 4th contender. He probably believes he’s stronger than the first two couples so can easily trump them but one last couple with cracks in and he’ll take the crown. Maybe I’m over analysing but I just cannot stand him thinking he’s the boss of that villa. He always puts his 2pence in other peoples business and struts about like he owns the place.
I like Jess but please let’s not vote her and Sammy as favourite. I cannot believe we’re all forgetting what a little shit he’s been and he DOES NOT fancy Jess. He knows it’s too far gone now and he’s riding the wave and trying to convince himself he loves her (following his master Ty). I can’t bare to see those gnashers if he’s announced winner lol
I still want Whitney to win, she isn’t perfect (who is really) but she’s been the most likeable so far and is now under immense scrutiny. Also her and Loch are constantly all over each other in bed so I don’t get why people don’t think there’s chemistry there. Yes they’re on a TV show but some people still like being intimate and affectionate in private

Haha I must confess I dip in and out but I like coming in here after most episodes but don’t post. I’ve just not seen her mentioned in a while I suppose so I wasn’t sure what the prevailing feeling was. Glad I’m not alone!

They’re all starting to see each other as competition now rather than mates. There’s the producers meddling with announcing the most liked couple, boys running round talking about ‘loving’ their partner….all putting the cat among the pigeons!
I hate this last part of the show where the ‘love’ declarations come out and everyone tries to force it to outdo each other. I’d love for someone to turn around and say ‘look it’s not going to work out once at home and we will probably never speak again but I’ve had a lovely time anyway. Chuffed be on TV and doss around for the summer’ I would vote for the honesty

In the last week alone she’s said that Zach was taking the easy option, implied Molly is a doormat, called Abi bitter and now Ella is the most selfish person she’s ever met. Maybe, just maybe, people are a bit sick of her because of how she’s conducting herself. If I had to listen someone list off their opinions or negative aspecs about my character as though they’re a fact I’d get sick of them too. Especially if the same person had the biggest overreaction to being called out in a challenge as though they’re above any criticism.

I still want Whitney to win. She might be bit of a bitch but she's direct and owns her words and doesn't try and manipulate everyone else ala Ty and Ella.

Also, Lochan is nice.

Ty and Ella are so false and any enemy of theirs is a "friend" of mine so I will still be routing for Scott and Whitney for the foreseeable

Also my brain actually hurts over Ella being hurt at being called selfish when she asked Whitney was she the youngest in her family and said "oh you can really tell". To me that was way worse cause it was so sly. Ella is truly too selfish to even realise that funnily enough.

Yes I'd be fucked off with her honest 'facts' about me if I was in there. Especially if she gets so pissy about one relatively harmless comment back. Being 'smug' is nowhere near as bad as most of the other catagories. And I can't remember who she and Lochan nominated for that catagory but whoever it was I don't remember them kicking off.

It’s becoming a fucking chore to even watch now, they’re all doing my head in. Jess is the only one I actually like. I’ve found Mitch quite endearing and funny until a few nights ago and now I can’t stand him.
Molly and Zach will probably last the longest on the outside but even then I don’t think it’ll be for long.
This series started out so good but it’s all gone to fucking shit now.

you sound like her this idea that she’s allowed to insult someone because she’s not afraid to speak her mind and she’s all about honesty etc.. that’s all great but if she can’t accept other peoples opinion about her and is going to get angry then I don’t think she’s as authentic as she’s implying she is. She’s just a hypocrite.

She can call people out and question their relationships. It’s fine because she’s honest, not afraid to say it how it is (i HATE that phrase) but nobody can question or call her out. If they do she’s pissy and It’a not ok.

Also if you have to repeatedly say you’re humble, you’re probably not. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I don’t get why she’s holding onto this humble thing so tightly.

Yeah I think both acted badly. I’m leaning to Ella just because Whitney was doing that annoying thing where she states her opinion as fact as though her argument and opinion is the only one that matters.

It's worse cause it's sly. A lot of people seemingly haven't actually picked up it's meaning and think Whitney threw the first stone.
