This is the common trope on Love Island. A lad does it and he's playing the game, a girl does it and she's 'begging for attention'. This type of view is what makes the girls stick to their initial partner like glue as they're scared of being thought of negatively like that. Whereas a guy does it and everyone just laughs it off!

Yeah I 100% agree with you. She's doing what your meant to do in Love Island, Mitch is being unhinged if I'm honest. It's like they are breaking up in the clips from tonight which is rediculous.
I noticed Mitch was trying to imply that because they had kissed that they were somehow official and then later on Whitney was asking the girls if that's what it meant when you kissed someone in here, that your officially closed off?? And all the girls were like "no!!" 🤣🤣

As much as she is allowed to venture, he is also allowed to pull back. Unhinged is taking it a bit far! I just think she’s desperate for attention in general!

He's telling everyone he's closed off which is fine if he wants to do that but he can't expect the other person he is coupled up with to do the same on day 3. It's love island, has he not seen the show before like!? It's just way, way too much so yeah I think it's unhinged.

I think we need to remember how much the producers tell everyone how to act. Eg when Davide told ekin he was exploring something else and ekin took it fine.
the producers then had a word with her and told her to lose her shit for good tv (ekin and davide have admitted this)

Mitchel is probably being told to act the way he is for entertainment purposes

also wondering who is leaving tonight eeeeek!!

I think you’re right, so much of it is down to editing. I also need to remember that sometimes 😊

I’m a bit confused.
Who is picking to tonight girls or boys. I thought it was the girls, in which case is bombshell Sammy amongst the pickees? Usually a new bombshell gets a bye at this stage. 😳
Or will it be before the choosing starts Sammy goes first and picks any girl he wants, then the other girls choose what boy they want.

just caught up and mitchell is crazy? what’s wrong with him, it’s barely been 3 days lol. why’s he assumed that molly is closed off? i think he just wants to claim the whole “we’ve been together since day 1” badge of honour, and expects molly to automatically do the same when she’s never once implied she closed off, he even told whitney that molly was close off? in the preview him saying “i don’t want to give you 100% when you’re not doing the same etc” as if molly is obligated too give him it back…he is what we all thought joe in szn 5 would be!
 
just seen the first look and i’ve gone off jess lol, how is molly playing a game? i must’ve missed something cause they’re acting like she’s led him on or lied but she hasn’t ? i remember her saying she’s not closed at the beginning. all the girl’s comforting molly and jess saying she’s playing a game? after 4 days? sammi is the one who picked her and she’s spoken to zach like once

also they’re obviously all playing a game as they’re on the show, but molly has barely done anything so i don’t see how that points to her playing a game
