I'm trying to understand why I dislike Molly. I think she gave me the ick from the very start and I just couldn't stomach her after that. Plus she seems like someone who is very performative and 'bubbly' but doesn't actually have a personality. She's as basic as they come and I can't fathom why ITV is determined to make it Molly island.
This! I have no valid reasons for not particularly liking her but I think you've hut the nail on the head. She's just meh but trying to be iconic and bubbly- like the TV presenter she dreams of being. She's as exciting as paint drying, no personality.

She's ruined Casa.

From the brief interviews she gave she said she understood that obviously he was gonna move on. She was mostly upset at the speed in which he did, plus he was wearing her bracelet when he tried to Kiss Kady. Also he used the same lines on Kady that he did on her.

Meanwhile the day before she left he was telling her on the date that he wants her to meet his mum, plus told Ty that he’s head couldn’t be turned.

She’s clearly going to get over it and get back with him but she’s just making him sweat for a bit.
They were together a minute, she's carrying on like they were married and he owed her. They were boring then and they're boring now

Yes I do see that I really do.
I'm no Zach fan in the slightest but he didn't know she was going back in and genuinely owes her nothing. He was a single man on Love Island.
Of course she will forgive him as she has no doubt been reading that is what a lot of people want. But she is stringing it out for attention. Nothing about her rings true or seems authentic. She's looking for an iconic LI 'story'.

She did confront him though. That’s what that whole conversation at the end was.

Not everybody confronts people by shouting, screaming, cussing and swearing. If she did that then she would truly not be, being herself.
I do hate this notion that to confront or pull someone up on their behaviour you need to be storming around the villa shouting and stomping and screaming ala Jess/Faye.

The thing is, the truly iconic LI moments happen when there's genuine emotion involved & people aren't trying to be iconic

Me either.

If she came in and forgave him straightaway then she’s a doormat and people would have a problem.
She’s confronting him and making him sweat a bit and it’s still a problem.

She can’t win either way. 🤷🏾‍♀️
That's what happens when people enmass decide they don't like someone for no good reason. She can't do right for doing wrong. Even when she wasn't in the villa any more and we thought she was gone forever people just kept dragging her and finding new ways to be mad at her. It was exhausting, especially when she's so flipping beige and inoffensive!! 🤣🤣

Agreed he’s just going to settle with her, and will get to know the other girls for bants. But they’re both boring, I don’t understand why itv have produced this storyline at all. If they chopped Ella and brought her back that would be something to watch, understandable not everyone is going to confront in an aggressive way.

But why else did they do this and produce the first look clip like there was gonna be drama ???? Looool they’ve given us nothing trying to give us something, she was the wrong girl for this move. she puts more effort into sucking in her stomach and holding her shoulders back, that’s all stage school taught her, I’m over her and Zak.

Ok so I don’t actually think Molly is interested in finding love whatsoever I reckon she’s just there to boost her persona and get her name out there. I guarantee this will have worked in her favour by going back in there, gets everyone talking. Plus alongside her stupid theatrical expressions and gesticulations she will likely end up with some sort of tv role after. That’s all she wants

Thank you.

I only defend this so strongly because I hate confrontation myself but if I really had to confront someone I’d do it how Molly did it.

I feel like it’s hard almost impossible to communicate with someone when you are stomping around and shouting at them any way.

That’s the most annoying part. The hate is so disproportionate especially when she’s not even an Olivia and doing anything particularly nasty onscreen.

The comments on social media especially Twitter are vile, they’re even coming for her mother over some made up lie about her working for itv/love island.🤦🏾‍♀️

To be fair....... I think the last person who was genuinely in there for love was Amy Hart and anyone since then is just in there for a career 🙈
Amy Hart was on The Morning After this morning and boasted proudly that her favourite thing is doing background checks on people on Facebook, does it for her friends too .. wonder if she asks her friends if they want it done 😳.

Yeah she's very self aware at all times, and everything is thought out. Even her Aftersun interview wasn't real, it was very "media trained".

Ella 100% would've been the better choice if they were hell bent on doing this twist. Using Molly, it has all but crashed and burned. In fact that's even top exciting a way to describe it, it flopped and fizzled to nothing

Have you seen her tik toks, jeez she's annoying lol

Ugh yes "her mother is an itv producer lie" which is so easily and has been countlessly disproven. People just want an excuse to go after her, really is mob mentality at this point.

And yes, if your shouting and screaming at someone you aren't actually communicating at all, you have just lost control. Always thought it was funny how Jess was calling Sammy "a little boy" when she was acting like an actual toddler herself 😂😂

My issue with her confrontation isn't how she did or didn't carry out, or the lack of shouting etc, it's the fact she even felt she had cause. They were nothing before she got dumped, and she's in there scolding him like they were a couple and he cheated on her in Malia on an all boys holiday. I just think she's fake now, and every move and word is thought out. She's playing the role of a lifetime.

Ha just noticed Casey tried to kiss Maya on the cheek backstage on Aftersun. He was denied 🤣🤣

This part is so true. All Jess and Sammy did was scream at each other and get nowhere, which is why their argument lasted for 4 episodes. Why do people find that entertaining?

Jess is probably the biggest hypocrite in the show. How was she saying Molly choosing to sleep on the day bed was her trying to make a statement, only for her to do the same thing to Mitch and say she’s sleeping on the day bed when she reconciled with Sammy. 🤦🏾‍♀️

There is little I can't stand more than a hypocrite!!

Yes that is my problem with her now. She had no justification to 'confront' him. He has done nothing wrong. He could've kissed Kady 5 minutes after she left and she still would not have the moral high ground. The minute she was dumped and he did not follow her he was single 🤷‍♀️
