I literally despair when I see what people think is acceptable to post. Wandered over to DS a couple of times, thankfully didn’t see any of this Vito hate but the general vibe just didn’t appeal.

Thankfully we all seem to have a balanced and sensible grip on things on here.

For those in any doubt, I am a Vito fan 🥰 Due to personal circumstances, I have had a little bit more time on my hands recently than I would usually have. SCD has been a welcome distraction and I may have become a little too invested 🙈 Having said that I do recognise that some of his ramblings may have got on people’s nerves - I just excuse them because overall he is adorable with an obvious heart of gold 💛

Strictly (and ITT) have a long history of poking gentle - and not so gentle - fun at pros with English as a second, and sometimes more, language. It’s one of their less endearing habits.
 
Well I think I would definitely be classed as an over invested Lakita fan but this hasn’t once made me feel the urge to punch any of the other contestants on this light entertainment show. However I have told my friend if she doesn’t love Lakita when we see them on tour then I may lose her and she can walk home 😈

Speaking of lovely Lauren her and Krish caught up last night 🥰

That was at least partly encouraged by Claudia, asking him stuff to set him off, in the Clauditorium. A bit like the thing with Krishnan's son. It was mildly amusing, at best, now leave it.

I think Vito is lovely and I always remember that Motsi described him as the most humble person she had ever worked with. Or words to that effect.

Just to be clear, I think Claudia is lovely too and she is brilliant on The Traitors. 😁
 
Honestly the weird hold this rat faced man has one some people never fails to amazed me.
A comment from the fail ' His simply the best, it’s like being at school you have to be taught properly and teachers have to be strict whoever you are, and some of his pupils are divas' WTF its a Reality TV show about DANCING!
 
LadyLav is out of hospital! thankfully Vito's win didn't finish her off.

She posted this article which is actually pretty balanced, about the demands of Strictly. It quotes Robin Windsor quite a lot (TLDR: we don't know, maybe Gio was too harsh, maybe A had too much going on, SCD brings out everyone's insecurities..)

It's embarrassing to be an adult and still hero worship total strangers!! You don't know them, it's so odd!! Like I love Nikita but I'm not going to blindly support him no matter what he does!? I love Vito, but I guarantee you next year I'm going to be back here complaining about him if he starts on about those fecking salads again!! 🤣🤣

They are just people, people duck up and do crappy things sometimes, Gio just seems to have a habit of not learning from his behaviour so he's probably not in the right job!

Interesting read! Surprised that Robin, who never troubled the final so far as I can remember, found training so stressful he was in tears.

I do hope Gio gets a ringer in her 20s/30s next series to give him a swansong with no chance of winning (and reduced likelihood of mental or physical damage to the celeb), and then off he can duck.

That is probably the crux of it. However Gio should have adapted if Amanda wanted him to (presuming she asked and didn’t just disappear)
