As much as I've never found Amy's choreography memorable (apart from Karim's Quickstep) it's clear she's deeply passionate about the show and cares about getting the best out of her celeb. I think she deserves her spot. The obvious 'just there for the paycheck' ones (Karen, Gio, Neil) are the only ones I wouldn't be sad to see go. Dianne too, because even though I think she does care, she must be a pretty hopeless teacher to have had so many good on paper candidates fail to reach their full potential.

I actually don't think it's Dianne's teaching that's the problem, just the fact that she cannot choreograph for toffee. I can barely think of any entertaining routines with sufficient content that she's put together in seven series. And none of her partnerships have any chemistry, which I think the viewers can tell. OK, nobody expected it with Rev. Richard, Joe or Robert, but definitely think Max, Bobby & Tyler would have had it with other pros.

Lots of people liked her partnership with Bobby! I know they were in two dance-offs but they were popular on the tour. I agree her choreo is pretty shite.
I genuinely forgot about Nadiya's existence there which is bad. She seems nice, but the only things that come to mind when I think of her are golf and bikinis.

I think it's a bit of both. I think she does seem to be one of the weaker teachers. I can't get over her being a Ballroom specialist and still bleeping the pro challenge last year and the other pros immediately knowing what she'd done wrong from watching the footage. But yeah, her choreography is boring - Robert's Tango, and maybe Tyler's are just about the only routines of hers coming to mind that I really liked. I'm still mad Motsi gave Booby's Willy Wonka Nightmare Tunnel Ride (that had barely any Cha Cha in it) a 9.

That's a good point about the chemistry. Aljaz is another who often had boring choreo, especially the Latin, but great chemistry/camaraderie with most of his celebs made up for it.

I wouldn't be opposed to Katya getting a judges spot when she finishes. The panel needs a shakeup, Shirley & Anton were toe-curlingly bad last year.
Craig is the only good judge imo. Motsi and Anton both waffle a load of rubbish and rarely give helpful feedback. Shirley can be good for getting into the technical stuff, but often overmarks and she gets far too carried away when she has a favourite, it's cringe. Craig is the most consistently fair marker and the only one I'd really miss if he went. Strictly really wouldn't be the same for me without Craig but I'd gladly see the other three go. I can't see anything changing in the judging panel this year but I hope at least one person gets replaced next year as it is getting a bit stale.

Craig, Claudia and Tess are strictly to me. I just hope Shirls brings back the creepy tiny shoes - I missed those shoes last year. I loved Darcey as a judge. I think though Angela S would be a good replacement for if/when Claudia leaves.

I love Claudia. She fills her Strictly role so perfectly. She's so quick witted but always has a lovely way of comforting the celebs who are disappointed with their performance.

I’m not keen on Tess as I don’t think she is a natural presenter and that everything has to be scripted. I think Claudia is great though and is probably one of the few presenters who is able to properly think on her feet and deal with most situations.

Shirley could be a good judge as she is clearly extremely knowledgeable about dance. She just can’t hide her personal feelings towards people and it’s reflected in her scores.
Craig is consistent and on the whole fair.
I like Motsi as I think she is authentic and has real warmth but can get carried away. Anton could be replaced by the Swedish Chef from the muppets and I’m not sure anyone would notice.

I don't think the presenters urgently need changed, that's fairly low down the list for me (judging panel and pros more important), but long-term I'd like to see someone else get a go at it. We've had 10 years of the Tess-Claudia duo since Brucie left, I'd like to think we're not in for another 10 years of them. I wonder if they would stick to their promise of quitting at the same time though.

Certainly if we can survive losing Len & Bruce, then we can survive losing Claudia, Tess, Anton and maybe Craig - though the panel could descend into full-on lunacy without him.

Someone on insta said that Vito and Nikita must have a lot of trust in each other as they do back bends down the stairs and also that Nikita and Luba have a lot chemistry when they dance together. Nikita tends to have chemistry with whoever he dances with.

I genuinely really like this group of pros and I think that's why (for me anyway) these last couple of series have been a lot better. Lots of good new pros coming (Carlos, Nikita, Jowita, Vito, Michelle, Kai, Lauren) in that have jelled well with the cast, plus existing pros that were sidelined (Nancy, Luba, Graz) being able to show what they can do with decent partners.

See, I'm at the other end - I find some of them really bland and forgettable. And I'm not enticed to go to the pro tour.

I can't abide Diane or Neil. Vito and Jowita are bland. Kai started off well but now seems to have faded away. Nikita was brilliant with Layton - the only way is down. Like Carlos but he did the dirty to AS with that Cha Cha. Michelle who? Lauren is a brilliant dancer and I hope she gets a long run in this years competition

At times I'm fast forwarding during strictly like I did at the end of X Factor 😳😳😳

I stopped watching It Takes Two cos of Rylan and the Clinton's (who I also can't abide - brother and sister)

I hope they have a good cast this year. If not, I'll be spending Saturday nights flicking through Netflix
