Not sure that would be true as surely pro tour rehearsals would clash?
 
Tour starts 1st May. I guess rehearsals wouldn't start till April? and CBB can't last longer than a month.

Having said that, could easily be bollocks. Seems quite a random rumour though, unless Nikita's agent is hard at work.
 
I just don't get it. You don't do CBB when you're at the peak of your career. It's one of the trashiest celeb reality shows going. He's coming off a great year with Layton and should have many more years of Strictly to come. I could maybe get a Karen or Giovanni doing it like Kristina & James did when they were finished with Strictly.

It’s far bigger right now as it will be primetime itv 1 every evening , and the pay is good, so probably better celebs than normal.
He shares an agent ( John Noel) with AJ and Will incidentally.
I’d imagine he’d be wanting to do more tv work outside of Strictly, he did quite a lot of features about Ukraine for Eurovision etc.
I forgot pro tour is slightly later, Celeb bb is only 2.5-3 weeks so it’s do-able.
 
Yeah it seems weird. I know it's quite a bit of money for a couple of weeks work but surely there are other opportunities. Him sharing an agent with AJ and Will makes it more plausible.
The likely celebs are the likes of Sharon Osborne, Louis Walsh and Ekin-Su.
Hilariously, the Sun also have a story that Bobby has turned down CBB as he 'wants to be taken seriously'
 
I doubt it’s true, doesn’t make any sense for him to do that and then straight into a pro tour for Strictly. Wasn’t Shirley also rumoured to be doing it? I think the press just go with random names and hope one sticks 😂 Regardless of whether he does it or not he will probably still continue on Strictly, would be very daft of him to leave so early in his career.

Looking through the CBB hashtag on twitter and someone has posted saying he is a part of the Donaheys event this weekend with Jowita, Lauren, Gio etc so highly unlikely he’s going on the show if he’s doing that the day before it airs.

I’d be quite disappointed in him if this is true. He doesn’t appear to be one of the needy fame hungry ones (hello Gio and Neil) and this would be a step to take as the dancing career was slowing down not when he is in his prime. I expect better from him than this.

Oh course if it is true I will obsessively watch and drool over him whilst judging him for being a sell out at the same time.

It just feels like a very weird choice if it’s true, thinking about it if he does cbb he probably won’t be back for the next series of strictly as they usually don’t let their pros do shows on other channels. Definitely doesn’t seem the type to abandon his dance career and the biggest show on TV for 3 weeks in the big brother house 😂
 
I think he would be an idiot to leave Strictly at this stage. He is one of the strongest choreographers they have, one of the most popular professionals and the youngest. He is at the stage where he could really develop into one of the most successful professionals they’ve had. 3 weeks on CBB really isn’t a sacrifice worth making.
To think we were slagging off Fanny Rat earlier for his future reality TV efforts 🙄

In the meantime Layton has a presenting job for the Brits. Layton you seem to have made smart career decisions. Have a word with your man.

There’s been a few pros on Celeb Hunted at least. I think, like with the Shirley rumours, the pros aren’t employed by the BBC all year … the contract runs for the length of Strictly. In effect, they’re self employed
 


Hadn't thought about the BBC not inviting him back if he does it so I'll assume it's bollocks then. No way Nikita would give up his Strictly career for a couple of weeks on CBB. What does he do after that? endless reality shows? unless he's eyeing up a return to Italy...

Big brother is on ITV though, and there’s been this historic thing between the BBC and ITV where they don’t really want their stars appearing on the other channel for long periods of time. It’s why you very rarely see crossovers between strictly and dancing on ice, in most cases the celebs who do both have a decent amount of time between both.
