I suspect Ellie and Bobby got close and maybe had a little thing on tour as they are a similar age and the only single young ones there. More of a convenient bit of fun than anything real. Then again I didn’t think there was anything between Dianne and Joe as I thought he seemed like an overgrown kid (at that stage I didn’t realise that’s exactly what Dianne is) so we should probably all buy a hat.
 
I don’t think any of them are playing the press necessarily. Dianne is just being her usual charming self. Bobby is being lead by the good ship Daddy Jeff and his PR wife. I think Ellie is probably still trying to navigate the increase in interest in her life now she is not just known for being a kid with a face like a slapped arse in Corrie and Vito is a passionate Italian dancer who appears to adore, hug and kiss pretty much everyone he ever meets (except Fanny Rat which shows that is discerning with his love).

Like the way Nikita can have amazing chemistry with pretty much anyone (any excuse to post this 🥵)

But yes, I will be glad when Ellie is safely on tour in Hull, Bobby is filming and posting his rambling musings about Buddha, and Vito is back to posting good old thirst traps and hanging out with his nonna.

You know what it is for me I think Dianne encourages Vito to her level of 'act a bit a thick' be the ditsy Italian everytime she ropes him into any of her vlogs and actually as a man and a dancer there's more to him than that imo 🤷

Ellie needs to find her independence now just as her own woman, focus on her future away from the Bobby/Vito love interest rubbish.

I know it's an unpopular opinion but I don't think it's doing her any favours .

I think the Ellie/Bobby thing has nipped that in the bud, hopefully. The problem with Rio stans was that Rose broke up with her bf shortly after Strictly which raised hopes, whereas this is the opposite. Having said that, some people will be oblivious whatever.

Ellie has definitely been a bit naive in navigating this with The Scarf etc. I also can't imagine she's enjoyed having this leaked by the Strictly Source (nearly always accurate!). Must be someone on tour which feels really crappy as it could be one of your mates.

Also, I saw that the friend of Ellie's mum who posted the video of their last dance at the O2 before that had posted that Michelle Obama quote 'when they go low, we go high' over the music from Ellie and Vito's paso! it was posted the day after her ex went to the papers, and Ellie's mum commented 'love this!' or something. So it seems that they were all really upset about that story. But it needs to be a warning to her not to give the press anything and to keep everything on the DL.

Agree. Think I’m about to sound condescending but Ellie definitely needs to discover who she is - without the influence of anyone. I reckon being on the road for the cluedo play will give her this.

I was the same with Dianne & Joe! I did not see their relationship coming at all. I must be a really bad reader of any sniff of a potential romance with any of the celebs/pros. I used to be convinced E&V had a thing, never bought into the E&B thing. In future watching Strictly, I’m just going to have absolutely zero opinion on any potential shagging 😂 having said that, I never saw anything with G&R. Still think even now people who comment on that are mentally unstable
 
I’m probably being delusional but I just don’t see Ellie and Bobby together - even with the footage on Di’s vlog. I just think he is extremely touchly feely and she is quite shy and timid and it’s just very close friendship like it is with Vito.

agree with the other posters up thread she needs to start using some of this new found self confidence and walk away from strictly as the winner not for the person who is linked to everyman and his dog!
 
I wouldn’t be surprised if the sources re Ellie come from her PR team.
The thing is if Ellie isn’t comfortable with the increased press attention and does want to keep her private life private, then maybe she ought to think about what she posts, after the 1,000 plus comments of get married have babies with Vito, your made for each other, how could she think posting a photo of Vito and her saying we look hot - won’t trigger more interest? I do think that maybe E&V do like the attention they get about whatever their relationship is.
Vito liking a comment saying he and Ellie, connect mind, body and soul, they shouldn’t let each other go and hope one day they both see this - really doesn’t help the shippers.

Arduino think also helped with the choreography for the pointless dance with Katya and Gio. Oh must not forget his award winning Rio couples choice.
 
I thought it was interesting that Dianne introduced herself as a professional dancer and YouTuber whilst Nikita introduced himself as a professional dancer and choreographer on the Weakest Link last night (maybe she knows she’s a tit choreographer).

I have no doubt that social media giving us an insight into celebrities lives (particularly Dianne’s use of it) contributes toward fans thinking they need to know everything about everyone else in strictlys lives and forming unhealthy parasocial relationships.

Of course my Lakita obsession is totally rational, healthy and sane 🤪

It certainly was an interesting comment to like. It’ll just continue to fuel the interest that they are romantically linked but maybe that’s what they want, regardless of the lack of anything other than friendship. They still need the publicity off the back of their Strictly win but I think that they could benefit from just stopping the posts now. That post btw has had like nearly 2 million views 😳

No, the Strictly source is defo a thing - see Molly and Tyler last year! I absolutely believe the story that Ellie was upset that the Bobby stuff came out so early. Then they thought they'd have a laugh with The Scarf which kind of backfired!
Her and Vito should have shut everything down on This Morning - no sense not doing it, when they came out and denied it the next week and Ellie immediately embarked on a torrid affair with Bobby's watermelon!

I thought in general Vito was being careful not to like shippy comments on that post, so it's possible he didn't read it fully, or his finger just slipped [insert gag here]
 
As for the Ellie/Booby/Vito/Scarf quadrangle, I'd love to believe Ellie has better taste than to go for Booby, but I think the ship has probably sailed for Elvito. I hope it doesn't end up getting too ugly with fan backlash. When Vito posted that instastory calling her 'my baby' it made me think this was all potentially headed for a KJ style meltdown.

I'd like to think they're just good friends who don't give a flying duck what fans or tabloids have to say about them, but the cynical side of me can't help but wonder if this is all a planned exercise in attention-whoring. If so, well fair play to them it's working, we're all talking about them.
 
I thought Gio and Rose for a bit were manipulative towards their shippers, they were well aware with what being said but did nothing at first to dampen anything. Then Gio gets outed with Jowita and all sort of hate, was spouted. Same when they linked Gio to one of his dancers on his and Antons tour. I dread to think of the type of messages she received.
I hope Vito and Ellie don’t go down the Rio route. I may find shipping crazy and odd - but, do think that perhaps shippers didn’t ought to be manipulated in order for people’s careers to be progressed.
 
Does anyone know what the issue with Robbie’s visa is? He seemed really emotional when Layton said they’d all agreed that he would get the Traitor game money regardless of who won.
 
Given their single status and touchy feely shennagins, people projected this years coupling onto Ellie and Vito who did very little to dampen the rumours.
I always thought there was chemistry between E&V, but for whatever reason it didn’t happen.

On tour Ellie has spent more time with Bobby and as they are both young and single have bonded.
She definitely deserves a bit of fun, hopefully realises that it wouldn’t be anything more than a holiday style romance and has just gone for it with the only other viable option.
On the other hand, E&B may have caught the dancer bug of groping and dry humping (think Luba and Gorka in Blackpool) which is enough to stoke the rumours and given them column inches.

E&V have had an epic 5+ months together which is coming to an abrupt end. They obviously care a lot for one another and even if it is just platonic - it is bloody hard saying goodbye.
Add in the type of people they are,and the world they inhabit and you have a perfect storm for the confusion unfolding on SM.

I am pretty sure they see (or hear of) what is wrote on here so maybe we will get a little bit more clarifications, vague posting on SM at least until Ellie’s tour starts or Bobby finds himself a nice young lady on the London party scene (or Insta) 😂

Anyway, sorry for the essay - I’m off to fill my time learning Italian for “please post some nudes”
