The thought of that makes me feel slightly nauseous. When Brendan’s partner was out of DOI for a week due to injury and he danced with another man he was quick to point out that was the only reason why. It’s like today’s dancers are another species to some of the old ones (smarmy Gio and cheesy Neil aside).

Eh, I didn't really get the impression that he was trying to be super macho and defensive about that? He's the one who picked Brendyn with a Y, I'm sure they could have scrounged up another female pro from somewhere that week if they had to. I think he did it more for a few extra tabloid clicks than anything else, but I didn't think he came off uncomfortable with it or anything. As opposed to Gio, who you could see just wanted to die of embarrassment every time he performed with poor Richie.

I think the tabloids would probably make something out of it if they were 'allowed' to, but also maybe not, I don't remember them writing much about John and Johannes.

If one of them was a woman they'd have definitely gotten the same tabloid treatment as Ellie and Vito.

When people were speculating about John and Johannes, I found it slightly annoying and felt like people were only saying it because they were both gay, no other reason. I didn't detect a hint of anything more than friendship, and then it turned out I was wrong, so I fully expect the real Strictly couple this year to be one no one expected - get your bets in for Carlos and... *spins wheel* Annabel! 😂

Yeah, Brendan has committed many Strictly sins but I don't think homophobia/opposition to same-sex pairings is one of them (pretty sure his older brother is gay). Shimmy Jimmy & FR on the other hand...

Yeah, the flirty thing he does with everyone, it was the heart eyes, especially in the last few weeks, that made me start half-seriously wondering if there was something going on.

That video Ellie and Vito posted of their last training day, where they were all teary and cuddled up on the couch, also had me nearly sold something was going on there, but the Strictly bubble is intense, I guess everyone goes a bit nuts by the Final.

Absolutely. I got the impression that he was delighted to skate with Brendyn and it was a lovely performance. I ❤️ Brendyn.

As regards Adam Thomas, I have to say I warmed to him to the point that I was sorry to see him leave. Although he looked exhausted by then, so I was kind of glad for him, he really acquitted himself well and Luba seemed to be really fond of him.

And Kai, I just love him. There's something really kind and gentlemanly about him, as well as being a lovely dancer. He was such a good choice to partner Angela. He was so genuinely emotional on the night that they were eliminated. I hope he gets a great partner next time around. I don't want to see him being Anton'd. 😁
 
Hiya! I’ve tried to stay off the threads as much as possible and skim read since the tour started as I’m going to Manchester tomorrow (leaving my house in Ireland at 6.30am Sat morn and I’ll arrive back 36 hours later #SuperFanChristmasPresent 🙈) and wanted as much of a surprise as possible…


Anyways, I digress! If you’ve been to the tour; is there merch available (my old school self needs a tour T-shirt 🤞🏻 haha) and also approx what time does it finish so I can try for public transport

merch is pretty much t shirts (£30ish iirc) and some daft lil 10 paddles made of cardboard and what appears to be an ice lolly stick. programmes were £15!!


kick off was 7.30 and kick out was just after 10, hope that helps 😀

That video did it for me. I was like oh, they are definitely together! But no, like you say everyone must go a bit delirious in that bubble.

I can recall about three specific moments when, if Layton had been a girl and knowing Nikita to be straight, I'd have been 100% convinced he fancied her, and it wasn't even anything to do with being flirty or tactile. That E&V video definitely made them seem like a couple, but the cynical part of me does wonder if they all play up to these things to keep the fans hooked.

This 👏🏻 100%- L&N are so lush together.
I’m starting to wonder that myself about the E&V video, sad if they felt the need to do that. They go from posting stuff like that too, apart from going for their tattoo, to seemingly ignoring each other on tour.
That video had a ridiculous amount of views though! Think about 100,000. Think I may have viewed it more than once 🤣

Ours started late, they kept having to put the start time back as there were too many people just waddling back from the bars

For timings for transport Victoria train station is a stones throw away from the arena and is a smaller station so is mostly connecting trains etc. Piccadilly is the main station and is a brisk 10 / 15min walk down deansgate.

they deffo sell merchandise all around the arena concourse but the venue is card only and none of the stalls whether it be merch or food and drinks accept cash.

Yes, it's the big reveal of Vitabel! While Ellie's been out drinking and shagging Bobby, Annabel's been showing Vito videos of how the fluoride in our drinking water causes Covid. He's intrigued! (we do know he likes an older woman)

I love Graz being murdered during the number!
