Part of the reason I gave Pete all my votes (aside from it being his best dance) is that I’m intrigued to see what he is next week. He mentioned on his podcast a while back that it was his idea which had to signed off and he’d be letting go and putting his dignity aside for it

I agree, he livens it up as he's not your average Strictly contestant but you can how hard he works and how he really wants to do well.

And he and Jowita have this off the charts chemistry that makes them SO watchable.

i would really love him to win (if not pete); they’re a lovely partnership and you can tell he’s loving every second of it.

I really enjoyed it too - I didn't think it would work but it came off so charming! He is such a good dancer and Michelle has really proved her worth as a pro.

I mean, based on that crappy samba they shouldn't win. None of his dances have cut it for a winner if people could stop being patronising about what blind people can and can't do.

Yea definitely, I think a lot of people liking just follow the contestant separately and aren't even watching the show and voting. But Chris has quite a drop.

My favourite thing this series is how well Montell is doing all round, in dancing, feedback and popularity.

I wouldn't mind a Pete win! I had no idea who he was but he's been trying really hard, improved massively and is entertaining. I might put a quid bet on

Tbf, samba just wasn't Chris's dance. A lot of the celebs seem to struggle with it and I can only imagine what it was like trying to teach it to someone who can't see.

Pete on the other hand, sold his character brilliantly and danced well on top of it. I've caught up with the rest of the dances on youtube and I'd say he and Jamie were my top 2 of the night.

Pete's Instagram likes are streets ahead of everyone else, maybe he's secretly beating Chris.

There’s only been one week where he hasn’t been a mile ahead of everyone on IG. Can’t remember what week it was tho.

Pete and Ghost Pasty have my heart this year. I love the respect they both show to their partners too, always quick to big them up and ensure they get the credit they are due.

Vito and Nikita have other parts of my anatomy.

If Vito wears his outfit and wig from tonight on his tour I will become a crazy fan and sacrifice my usual travels for tour of UK theatres and travel lodges over the summer.

From what I can see Chris has been ahead of him every week except for movie week and this week. They do seem to have been top 2 every week though and miles ahead of everyone else.
