I know it is Chris's thing and his way of feeling more involved in the show but it is, for me, becoming too repetitive, I also said the same about Wynne a few weeks ago but he has toned it down.

i think chris honestly needs to either tone it down or balance it with some genuine from the heart comments about how he’s finding the whole experience because he’s always in a vaguely irreverent mood. i find it so hard to get a vibe on how he actually feels about strictly (like is he enjoying it? who knows?!) - other comedians they’ve had on the show have managed to hit that balance well (though a lot haven’t!) it just makes it difficult to vibe with him because of it (for me anyway).

i do wonder if jamie (in particular) is going to start challenging for his nailed on win though!

People often mock actors for working in Soaps it's tiresome to hear such a cheap shot especially when Jamie is a jovial friendly person.

I actually like Chris, and I would be surprised if anyone bets him to the win.
But I wonder if the nerves on the night come out as snappy and rude? He's quite a different person in his videos with Diane, he's still got the comedians sarcasm but it's tempered by his genuine fondness of Dianne.
I'm genuinely surprised how fond he is of dianne. She's not the sharpest and I imagined her stupidity would have wound him up but he seems genuinely fond of her. She must really be making it a great experience and I hope he has a few words about how she deserves better than the partner she had at home.

Amy tonight will have locked herself in the dressing room and be manically saying "it's my year to win. I had cancer" while JB is made to 1000 ball changes for not getting her 10s. Remember people 2024 is Amy's year

Some of that scoring tonight. WTF was with those 9s for Wynne? Insanity.
Pity vote for everyone at home now thinking he's a perve

Of the women I'd be okay to see Punam or Sam go. I don't really think they're doing justice to their partnerships with Gorka and Nikita which is frustrating to watch!

Of the men Jamie is the only one I'm enjoying watching. Maybe Jowita can get some more from Pete in a different week. Karen's a joy to watch so I could tolerate Paul for 1-2 more weeks. The rest 🤷‍♀️

wait, how many jamie accounts do you have?!? (i love how much you love him 🤗)
I will not be taking questions at this time.

Has anyone seen the short on the Strictly Facebook page where Jamie is shouting YOU AINT MY DANCE PARTNER and Michelle screams back at him, it’s really made me laugh, i didn’t see that in the show so i don’t know where it came from!

They showed this just before their VT. "YOU AIN'T MY MUVVA" was such a seminal moment, the sixth form common room could not stop talking about it the next day. Unmissable telly 😅

I mean Eastenders is a load of crap imo; all the soaps are but what he said was hardly anything to clutch pearls at; it wasn't a dig at him personally. From what I believe Pete said on insta or on his podcast all the male contestants have banter with each other.

From the interviews he's done and by what he says in the videos he does with Dianne on instagram he feels left out at this is a visual show at the end of the day so I just feel he's doing his best to feel included and to convey himself; I'm not going to tell a blind man what he should or shouldn't do to feel included; if people don't like his quips thats their opinion but others like myself find it it funny and it adds a change of levity to the show.

I just like to be fair because it seems to be overlooked by others when Pete & Wynne seem to be doing it as well week on week.

Back to his dance; I thought he did a good job and Dianne choreographed it well. :)

I'm genuinely quite worried if Amy featuring JB get in the dance off how she will react

I never really take to comedians, I just find them exhausting. I liked Ellie as I felt she had genuine moments of sincerity too, something that I don’t think we’ve seen with Chris, but I think that’s because he refuses to be a sob story which I respect. I find Chris, Wynne and Sarah exhausting but love to watch Chris dance and am so impressed by Dianne this year
