When did Alijaz become so middle aged. I can’t believe I used to think he was so handsome.

Alijaz has put on a little weight, you can see it in his cheeks (facially!!!! I mean) :ROFLMAO:

It sounds like a troll. Or else the production team really don't want Chris to win!

I still don't see why it has to be a troll. Comedians very, very often punch down or opt for shock factor and also, a lot of them do small regional gigs (Chris included) where they air out the edgier material.

I honestly don't think anybody would be doubting this if it was, say, Paul or Wynne being referenced in the same post.

As much as I agree Gleb is a total wanker, I just rewatched Brooks' Tango and she is doing the correct hold? I mean they're not in it much but when they are her hand's in the right place. Where did he say he taught her the wrong hold on purpose?

It happens during judge Derek's comments. He complains about the hold, and Gleb sort of yells back (semi-smiling), and I'm not sure of the exact words, but something to the effect, "Well, you said last week she didn't do the hold right, so here it is!"

They had done the tango the week before, and I think he was brought up on her hold position, so I think it pissed him off and in a snit, he "fixed" it.

When they first announced this year's cast, Gleb wasn't in it, but then, at the last minute, they added him (along with Britt and Sasha). Sasha said he had to get ready in a hour or two to rush to the airport to fly from Los Angeles to New York. They formally announced the pairings in New York on one of the morning chat shows. (I don't know if Gleb and Britt had the same last minute call up), so maybe he's been angry about that too.

Maybe I got some of this wrong, but that's how I remember it - I would have to go back and rewatch for more details (including the week before).

Because he's famous enough that surely it would have been public already by now.

Not if it was a small gig as the poster alleges. I'm guessing his demographic is predominantly white - lots of people aren't going to speak up about racist jokes unfortunately.

You only have to look at material other comics are getting away with to understand that audiences generally do not care, which sucks but has generally always been the case with comedy. It would not have picked up by the media if a) press didn't attend, as they don't tend to do for small regional gigs and b) nobody complained as they were kind of au fait with casual racism.

I really don't see the point in anybody just making this up to stir the pot, especially given they've said they won't repeat what he said (which they totally would if they wanted an article). Chris is basically walking to the final and very popular so one post on him on an opinion forum where they won't elaborate on evidence is a drop in the ocean.

Gleb was always part of the cast this year (one of the main showbiz journalists confirmed that) - his problem is just his ego as it's always been. He thinks he's entitled to a hot ringer each year and when things don't go his way, he runs his mouth to the press. Irony is that he's one of the better dancers on DWTS (at least two of the male pros are totally unwatchable) and would do so much better if he actually tried.

Strictly deffo dodged a bullet there, I think he makes Gio look somewhat humble.

Here's a reddit post where someone else explains what they saw (with Gleb/Brooks and the 'quickgo' hold) - there's a whole thread about it there - sure hope I'm not breaking protocol by linking:

"Ok I had SERIOUS second hand embarrassment for Gleb getting called out for doing Tango frame. I noticed it during the dance, and figured he didn't want to mess up Brooks frame and confused her with changing it for quickstep which is lazy but I LOVED Derek calling him out because Gleb is a PRO dancer. But it was so funny!!!"

another comment:

Bruno yelling “BAD TEACHER, BAD BAD TEACHER” was so funny

Regarding Chris, it wouldn't shock me too much purely since comedians tend to be quite provocative but the poster on DS wasn't forthcoming enough with info to really judge on.

In general, I do think he needs to wind it in a little bit. A few jokes is charming, but joking at every opportunity gets grating. I didn't mention this at the time but the constant self-deprecating tweets before the launch show rubbed me the wrong way a bit.

I would still doubt it, no matter who it was about.

You've only got to spend a short while in any kind of Internet "fan" space to know that people make up all sorts of tit to suit their own purposes.

I'm not saying it's definitely false, but I'm not taking it as fact based on a single vague post on DS.

Ah yea I wasn't counting Christmas. But yes how did she get away not doing one on the main show?

Amy kept changing her hair colour each series and when the promo photos were released I would always think "who on earth is that?". She just looked like "generic pretty woman" .

That Christmas special one is so underwhelming. So many beautiful Christmas songs you could rumba to and they pick a sickly cover of a plodding noughties indie song.
