I was going to say, Vito might be right here, but it doesn't mean he's available, also doesn't mean they're into each other in that way. As sweet and pretty as Ellie is, I'd be quite surprised if she was Vito's type, tbh.

The thread police are on duty on the Gio/Amanda thread. Why do people try and get discussions closed during the boring non Strictly season? It just leaves us with that dull Strictly updates one about who is on Pointless and what West End musical Danny Mac is appearing in. Yawn.

I dunno, occasionally they seem to have Strictly stuff leaked to them but nowhere near as much as they used to, and the Sun comes up with a fair amount of BS these days - a lot of the time it seems like they're just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks.

After the 2022 final, they had 'exclusives' that Gorka was definitely leaving and that Hamza was heartbroken over Jowita and Gio, both of which turned out to be bollocks. Sure, some stuff is still leaked, but most of the Strictly tabloid stories these days just comes across as guesswork more than anything

I really enjoyed that. She’s definitely using her journo skills on tour. Thank goodness someone is bothering, it would be dull(er) without her input

Why do people post on threads that are obvioulsy dying saying it should be closed and by doing so, bring it back to the top and reinvigorate it? 🤷‍♀️. If you want it closed, just report it, no need to announce.

Oh of course, it's great if they're really good friends because there isn't a spark - I just can't believe anyone would be good friends with someone like Vito and then potentially date someone so different to him (trying to be kind to Bobby with that wording haha 😅)

Who was it here who called Ellie 'not one of life's natural scarf-wearers'?? :ROFLMAO:

The Sun stories normally have some truth and then embellishment. Eg they got the scoop the time Vito fell off the chair during the DO with Fleur and had to restart. But then the source gave some bullshit about how others backstage were annoyed, which was clearly bullshit if they were potentially injured and James Bye was desperate to go home anyway.
This feels like the 'story' is people/someone backstage wondering if there might be something going on with Ellie and Bobby because they are hanging out so much and are affectionate. And there might be, of course.
(Interesting that none of the papers picked up Vito and Ellie staying on their own in a hotel in Manchester the other night, which you'd think that Curley would have loved. Pics of them going into a hotel together (even if Ellie is only sleeping with Norma) would be gold dust for the Mail).

So you are saying The Sun is a credible source of news? I am trying not to let my bias come through here, but seriously this rag doesn’t come with a glowing reputation for reporting the truth 😡
On this occasion no real harm is being done to either party (as I have said previously) but to say they are credible is stretching things imho.

I think it's just in this one context where they clearly have a mole. Obviously they are a shitrag. But the same journo - Clemmie Moodie - is involved in all the scoops so she must have a contact. (Interestingly when I looked her up on insta there she is followed by Katya and Kai...! - and presumably others on the show I don't follow)
The Sun story in 2021 about Katya having a backstage meltdown was clearly bollocks though, so they do invent stuff. That was an 'exclusive'

No, but it certainly has … or at least had when D Wootton was in residence … someone whom was prepared to be a bit more loose lipped than they should be on tap.

Ah D Wootton who must have something on very high profile important people. One thing that put me off Shirls is that at one point she was friendly with him.
