Strictly Come Dancing 2024 #13

To be so factual incorrect is just embarrassing. Tabloid rags these days aren't even worthy of being tomorrows chip wrappers. They are a disgrace. Zero journalistic standards or skill. No basic research. And I don't need to discuss hidden agendas, because they are so blatant and obvious about it it's frankly embarrassing. Just propaganda for whatever pays that day.
The sentence - I understand the appeal to Beeb bosses of his moving back story: the gay son of an impoverished white mother and an absentee Jamaican dad - tells you all you need to know about her really doesn’t it?

The original panel – Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli – were a benevolent bunch. Yes, they made great jokes about terrible dancers but it was never malicious and they were full of warm praise for the high achievers.

This from Platell’s article, is complete bullshit for a start. Arlene was seriously unpleasant to the less able contestants. She was impatient, scornful and often treated them with outright contempt.

Ok, Sophie’s choice. Pete Wicks or Neil Jones?

Another hit piece by Amanda Platell in the mail. I’m pretty sure Govinni is either paying her or offering some of his Sicilian sausage. She even drags Layton into this piece.

Poor Amanda, such a massive Strictly fan that she managed to totally miss John and Richie in the previous couple of years.
This is ridiculous. I don’t love them having trained dancers on the show but Laytons hardly the first or the most experienced. Did she have an issue with Danny Mac, Ashley, Faye, Karim and everyone else who’s had some form of dance training? It’d be boring if they were all tit for 4 weeks.

That original panel was horrible at times. Craig was more acidic than he is now, as was Arlene, and they were all very stuffy. After Arlene was dropped, the guys lightened up a bit.

Alesha brought more positivity and then that set the tone for the golden era with Darcey. Sadly once we lost Darcey & Len for Shirley & Motsi, it's went back full circle to what it was.

I thought this bit of the article was worded interesting it reads to me perhaps Gio is aware of the outcome and it hasn’t gone his way:
Giovanni, for his part, denies all the claims. He has retained lawyers of his own from Schillings, claiming the BBC failed in their duty of care by partnering him with a celebrity, who was clearly vulnerable.

Len could be insufferable too. Darcey is probably the 'nicest' judge they've had. Bruno and Motsi weren't/aren't generally too cutting either though they're there for flamboyant personality as much as anything.

The Sun has an exclusive that Tasha Ghouri has signed up. They are leading with 'Govinni ex..' though did they really date? (story says 'linked to' and 'shared a few dinners'). She's deaf and a trained dancer - interesting!

Aw I have seen videos of her dance before, she was really good! I'm excited to see her!! She's the token "ringer" for this series so 😅😅
