Time for Strictly to start on Saturday!
Recap - Mostly us discussing the spoilers so can’t really recap (yet!)
We did discuss how weirdly photoshopped this is 😂

Also had a discussion on John’s new book and resulting articles, and whether Tristan’s could be hot, despite the name.

Tristan is hot.
I love that photo. I love the way Nancy’s head is bigger than Gorka and Katya appears To be randomly floating.
also love the way the blokes seem to be wearing the Bon Marche Christmas party/knitwear collection from 1998.

To be honest, given the length of time between the filming and it being aired, I’m amazed there’s not been more leaked out.

Tbh I am now at the stage where I'm eyeing those tops for my Christmas party looks. Lurex with bell sleeves? yes, please! Also, Vito's lacy blouse in Shirley's launch show video is something I definitely bought from New Look in 2002.

I see on DS that Krishnan is supposedly away this week working? Seems not a great sign, even if he just has a nice waltz in week 1.

Watching an old episode of Gogglebox last night and it featured Tony and Katya's first dance. OMG, I remember how uncomfortable Tony looked. They became my favourite couple very quickly and I looked forward to seeing them every week. Tony wasn't the best of dancers but my goodness, did he work hard! I also loved his chats with Rylan on ITT.

On the subject of height difference, which Dianne mentioned with Tyler, and yet was given a tall partner again - Tony according to Wikipedia is 6.3. He definitely towered over Katya. I don't remember that being mentioned tbh

To be fair, none of them look like they were actually there. It looks like a decoupage of random cut outs. How can Karen look so small compared to Amy and Nikita?
Nancy and Gorka make me chuckle every time.

They pulled a really good dance out of the bag at Halloween - it showed not only how hard he worked but what a fantastic teacher and choreographer Katya is.

Katya just gets on with things - she's had more than her fair share of a challenges but she never complains and always gets the best out of her partners. Dianne only started mentioning the height difference, his big feet, how she's a tiny fairy from planet Miniwee etc when things didn't go her way.

It's hilarious. I love how Nadiya has been shrunk down and plopped in the middle - Dianne and Amy look massive in comparison.

I think Gio is the only pro who hasn't yet posted about the new season - he keeps posting about his own dance classes, his TV series etc. Maybe he'd be happy with an early exit?

Interestingly, in the media pack, Ellie says Amanda is a dark horse. She seems to have Latin first. With
Giovanni
as her partner I imagine she'll be well trained. She might surprise.
