Aljaz managed to Charleston as Balloo.
Pasha jived as Shrek and Charlestoned as a non specific troll and both needing the strap on belly that’s got to affect the balance.

The main difference was they seemed to embrace it and go with it. Gio just looked ticked off.
 
If they aren’t cracking out the primary coloured face and body paint I don’t class it as one of the worst costumes 🤣

So true, it was pretty much his first week ever in all his years not being a fairytale prince type character for movie/musicals week and he had a right mard about it.

Gio looked his life had flashed before his eyes😂😂.
Think someone said he said on his tour he wouldn’t stand down after that series as he didn’t want to go in everyone’s memory as Pummbaa ( or however it is spelt!)
 
I see Gio has put up a post about a woman who was scammed by someone pretending to be him - she said they’d exchanged pics and arranged to meet etc.
it’s very sad as this woman sent Fake Gio £3000, but it made me laugh slightly at him shaking his head sadly at the very thought he’s message and send pics to ladies on social media 🙂
 
One thought - I wonder if they will change the set this year? Reason being that we'll probably have a wheelchair celebrity, and I'm not sure how they'd get to the Clauditorium on a live show. At the moment, the celebs have to walk up a curved staircase which just isn't accessible.

Even aside from that, it is probably time for a change there. It's been the same set up since 2010. Other versions look better visually than we do despite likely having a lower budget.

I like Kai, I agree he was lovely to Kaye. I think he is an all around nice guy.

Just watching Celebrity Gogglebox and Richie and Ellie are perfect for it. 😁
Richie deserved a lot better from his Strictly experience - it's nice to see him doing other stuff.
 
I'm going to see Anton and Gio next week in Glasgow.

We saw the show last year and loved it. So we've got high hopes for this year.

However, we went most years to see Anton and Erin but last years tour was a damp squib. They lost a backing dancer to illness (not covid they kept telling us) so the dances looked unbalanced and a couple of their male dancers were terrible - totally out of sync. And they had the lovely Lance Ellington singing. Bur he didn't get to sing many cracking songs. Flaming spice girls to a tango beat (it wasn't exactly but you get the picture). Even Erin's dresses weren't to her usual gorgeous standard. Very disappointing considering the cost of the tickets.

They didn't tour this year. Antons doing a 'and friends' tour later in the year. And yes, we've booked for that as well!!

I've seen most of them over the years and the only one I've returned to and will keep returning to are Johannes and Gorka and Karen's shows, they are both just a different league than the rest of them for me.

I'm always too late to book for Johannes. Will maybe try for next year.

But ive got to pay for my holiday this month so will be el-skinto

I know Anton is nice guy and I like him as a judge but never felt compelled to see a show of his. I think it’s his similarity to Brucie perhaps? Report back on the show next week, it’s not coming anywhere near me sadly.
