Well to be fair I wouldn't blame Jeff for keeping them from him. He's been in prison for assault and went to trial for rape. I'd be keeping my kids away from someone like that as well.
Exactly. He is a violent thug (he was in prison for assaulting a teenager with a golf club ffs) and more racist than she was. Iā€™m pretty sure Bobby and Freddieā€™s lives would have turned out differently and not in a good way if Jade had lived.

I hate the cc and think they should ditch it now. Itā€™s hugely manipulative and acts as a save if youā€™ve got a good sob story. Also Bobby was nearly 6 when Jade died so itā€™s pretty grim heā€˜s upping the tragedy. I couldnā€™t even bring myself to watch it.

Onto the rest of them Vito and Ellie were great, as were Nigel and Katya and Layton and Nikita though I agree if was a bit disjointed for an American smooth. Annabelle was surprisingly good and Angela was bloody terrible. She cannot move her hips. She looks like sheā€™s made of Lego.

Katyaā€™s dress looked like it was stuck in her knickers šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Also I will pay money to get Hayley off.

ETA And I am so incredibly impressed by Amy going out without her wig. Every woman I know whoā€™s had chemo has really struggled with the horrible hot itchy wigs. I love her for having the guts to be in the clauditorium without it. Sheā€™s amazing.

Remember that Jade was a qualified dental nurse. Not a job you can do if you're genuinely thick.
I think Jades issue was her childhood trauma, of which I think there was a lot of, meant that she would get triggered and go on the attack very easily and when she was triggered she would throw out the first hurtful words she could find in her disregulated state.

I am very much not a fan of Daddy Jeff as I think he has exploited the situation for fame too but I donā€™t blame him for keeping the boys away from Jack and Jackiey. Jackiey was the cause of lots of Jades trauma and her choice in men was a result of that. I wouldnā€™t let either of them near my kids either if I was Jeff.

It was gorgeous and I do think a bit undermarked considering the comments. Shirley looked she was gonna spew at the prospect of having to compliment Nigel šŸ¤£

Katya looked a bit quizzical as if she thought Shirley was joking or that it was such a shock to her.

What has Nigel ever done to Shirley, did he forget to bow at her feet or tell her what a great dancer she is?

Nigel is no cultivator of favour, for which I respect him in his world of celeb and showbiz. Take him for who he is and what he is, if the shallow world of entertainment want a bit of bowing and scaping to the bigwigs/judges rather than for talent, then so be it, though Nigel still stays true to himself. Kudos to him. šŸ¤—

Layton & Nikita - sack that terrible singer ffs. For once I agree with Shirley's feedback. I think they would absolutely kill a ballroom dance done in a traditional style. Have they done a quickstep yet? Motsi needs to chill with the ridiculous over excitement and favouritism of Layton.

Nigel & Katya - loved it. I didn't know who to focus on, they were both incredible. Have the judges had a telling off or something? They all gave proper feedback. Nigel looked pleased, I think the nice comments and 9 from Anton was just what he needed after last week.

Annabell & Johannes- I liked it. I prefer the more traditional Pasos. But I'm not sure where she can go from here, I think she'd be quite a boring contestant to have in the final.

Angela & Carlos - it had potential with the song and choreography but she just seemed very stiff to me.

Bobby & Dianne - it was OK for a contempowaft. Dianne seemed to do a lot more dancing than Bobby though. She excels in contemporary imo, I think she's much more suited to that than ballroom & latin. I hate the emotional manipulation of couples choice though. They're usually ridiculously praised and overmarked. They need to start doing a couple's choice week early in the comp like week 4 or 5 and just get them all out of the way. It would stop the overmarking because they wouldn't hand out 10s to everyone in the same week.

Ellie & Vito - I found it a bit boring. It didn't really get going until the end. I can't make my mind up if the song worked or not.

Respect for Booby telling the audience 'it's cool' (or some such words) when they started to boo Craig's comments. I have no idea how to judge his dance, but the same goes for Nigel. I was just chuffed to bits that he & Katya got positive praise and no "buts". It obviously meant a great deal to both of them so I really hope they manage to avoid the DO.

If it were up to me it'd be Angela v Annabel with the latter leaving, but I highly doubt that's what's in store given tonight's scores.

I canā€™t even find that group when I search for it šŸ¤·

search "spoiler strictly come dancing 2023"

Yes, L&Nā€™s quickstep was phenomenal! Week 2 I think?

Wasn't mad on Bobby's cc, but most of all, because there is an air of innocence or naivety about him, I just don't want it to be the case that he was used by either the team behind Strictly, or his dad, in order to tell that story tonight.

I'm not explaining it well, I know. I just hope that it was something he was okay with doing.

Re Amy, yes, yes she is. I had chemo last year and literally felt like tit throughout (apart from the night of / day after when I was buzzing on steroids!). Amy's resilience is absolutely inspiring. I've worried about her immunity when she's been in the Clauditorium but she seems to be doing really well. I look forward to seeing her back on the dance floor šŸ’•šŸ’ƒ

Tried to watch live but ended up missing parts so here are my thoughtsā€¦

Layton - Probably my least favourite dance from him so far. Technically it looked ok but I actually found it a bit boring at times

Nigel - Death slot with a rumba after being bottom of the leaderboard last week should have been a disaster, but he did much better than I thought. Great dance & choreo, but despite positive comments I still think he was undermarked by at least 2/3 points

Annabel - Might be an unpopular opinion but I donā€™t see the appeal at all. She dances well but I just donā€™t connect with her, apart from her couples choice I think all of her dances are seriously overmarked

Angela - A bit of a disaster bless her, I didnā€™t have high hopes but it was even worse than I imagined. Actually surprised she didnā€™t get a lower score but she looked like she was having fun, I did have a feeling she wouldnā€™t be able to keep up the Blackpool momentum

Bobby - Nowhere near as bad as I thought, not amazing and hardly the best contemporary dance Iā€™ve ever seen but he did well. Have to give him credit as I think he actually came across well this week and handled the whole thing with a lot of maturity, the constant panning to his crying Father & Brother in the audience was weird as hell though and felt very exploitative ā€¦ the whole ā€œI just want to see your dads little faceā€ shouldnā€™t have been a thing after a tribute dance

Ellie - Not my favourite dance of hers and hated the song, but as always she did really well. I would say sheā€™s now the clear winner and it will be a very well deserved victory.

Two of Angela, Layton, Nigel and Annabel for the dance off tonight I think ā€¦ no idea what will happen.

Respect for Booby telling the audience 'it's cool' (or some such words) when they started to boo Craig's comments. I have no idea how to judge his dance, but the same goes for Nigel. Yes, that was good of Bobby, I thought. Honestly, we take the piss here, but he seems like a nice lad, really.

I also noticed that when the crowd were booing Craig during his feedback to Nigel and Katya, Nigel leaned forward to listen to what he was saying which I thought was nice, too.

Layton & Nikita - I didnā€™t think the song and the styling really worked (although Nikita looking like a middle aged lesbian isnā€™t a problem for me funnily enough šŸ˜‚) It didnā€™t feel like an American Smooth. I enjoyed the 2nd half of the dance more. Having said that I still love them and even them not at their best is better than most the others. I wish they had gone more traditional as their quickstep was absolutely amazing.

Nigel & Katya - I thought this was one of Nigelā€™s better performances. Him and Katya getting hot and heavy is definitely the way to go. The singer needs to be put out of our misery and taken out back and euthanised.

Annabelle & Johannes- I liked it, she has done far better than I expected but she is dull and if she wasnā€™t with Johannes I probably wouldnā€™t watch her. She was over scored.

Angela & Carlos - I like them but thought this was awful. When she started dancing alone my internal organs shrivelled up I cringed that much.

Bobby & Dianne - Iā€™ve been very vocal on here about my feelings about this. I think Bobby danced parts of it well and parts of it did look like a toddler putting on a dance show in his living room for visitors. I think he handled a potentially difficult situation with respect. I think TPTB (and Dianne for that card stunt) are reprehensible.

Ellie & Vito - Danced very well but I think Ellie doesnā€™t connect at all with dances that are intense or sexy and out of her comfort zone.
