This comparison is alarmingly spot on and yet I still fancy the pants off Nikita 🤣

Other boybanders who deserve an honourable mention for curtain comparison are Lee from 911, Stephen Gately and Kian from Westlife....H from Steps and Bryan from Westlife also popped into my head but they can get the duck out!
 
I loved it on ITT when explaining what led to the shirt coming off, and Tilly said she 'accidentally knocked his buttons open'.

Watched ITT last night, aww Krishnan and Lauren.

I wanted to ask the hairdresser what they did to AR's hair on Saturday night. For some reason, on the results show, I found it hilarious. I mean I saw it on the show on Saturday night and just thought it looked strange. No idea why I found it so funny, seeing it second time around!

Typical.

Duffers/middle rankers often get these big show numbers that would be done better by decent dancers, I don't get it.

Ofc, there's no reason why two celebs can't have tails and big band but heaven forbid more than one person doesn't have to dance to a shite pop hit wearing Norman Wisdom's trousers.

I know I'm a Nigel fan but I'm not especially peeved because he in particular might lose out, rather that La Rippon, despite her dance abilities being sticking her leg in the air and plunging Kai into existential despair, is (seemingly) going to get the big showstopper over every other contestant, all of whom are better/more entertaining, just because of some cheesy "moment" the show wants.

Ofc, if she's not doing the AS and they've actually given her the Samba for a boot I retract the above 😂

Yes, she mentioned it in her story this morning. Not the song though.

I do feel that the styling helps massively with these kind of things. I rewatched Ore's showdance (boo!) on the treadmill this am. It's pretty good but it is so massively helped by the costumes/set/and of course the music. Ore is out of time several times, but it basically doesn't matter. It's a gift of a routine, with or without the Widow Kelly in the front row..

I will be mightily surprised if a quickstep does not appear on the dance rosta on that bouncy floor. The only couple it can go to now is Nigel and Katya. I won't hold my breath but hoping that Nigel gets his wow costume moment which is well overdue. :)

I think they tried to dress him like Gene Kelly last week but failed.

The t-shirt for the Tango was supposed to be more "raw" or something re the storyline of the dance - Katya's dress was quite nightie like.

However, the wardrobe dept being the wardrobe dept, he ended up looking like the kid who forgot their PE kit and had to raid the lost and found.

I wish they would go back to when they used to make a ballroom tail suit for each of the men. Would save them a fortune in crystals and time.

I hope Nigel gets the Blackpool QS with proper costuming. It’s not just him that’s cheated if we don’t … it’s us as well :cool:
