I had a feeling AR would do the tour alright.
Kai will definitely be going to Erin Island after that 😁. I presume they dance with the same partners on the tour?

Just thinking, I love when it happens to be Fleur's night presenting ITT, and Ellie and Vito are on. 😁 He and Fleur fought their way through last year, and they seem to get on like a house on fire still.

I'm not surprised they wanted her, she had two really popular routines (across SM) in CC and Rumba - that, objectively, would actually go down well on the tour, IMO. But I'm still surprised she's doing it just because of the schedule.

I was thinking of taking my mum, as I think she'd really like it, and was excited to see it's back in our city, which it hasn't been for a few years - but it's nearly all sold out!!! Only the crappy seats left 😪

Why wouldn’t they want her? She’s one of the bigger names this year, and she appeals to a specific audience demographic.

No one can ‘demand’ to do the tour in their show contract. The tour isn’t managed by the BBC, they just contract their intellectual property (costumes, choreography, etc.) pertaining to the show to a separate organisation.

I don’t see her ‘struggling’. She hasn’t missed a show, she hasn’t missed any rehearsal time as far as we know, she doesn’t have any injuries that we’re aware of, she hasn’t blanked on her choreography. What part of the workload isn’t she handling?

She might not move as quickly as people 50 years her junior, but that’s not the same as ‘struggling’.

Plus it's not a huge amount of dancing for the celebs their two dances and a bit of group dancing. Unlike during the show they aren't training for hours and hours in the run up to the live show.
If anything it's the traveling that the non musician celebs seem to struggle with the most.

She's barely keeping up with the pace of the dances which are already slowed down and simplified for her. On tour she'll likely be doing two dances with Kai per show, the celebs also take part in the group dances on tour, so that's potentially 3 or 4 dances per night. I think it could be too much for her. I guess we'll find out when the tour starts 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think she knows her own capabilities, she’s not your average 79 year old and is clearly very fit. She could easily do her CCC and Argentine Tango which so far have probably been her best dances and the ones she hasn’t struggled with.
