I think this is fine to say as someone sitting watching it, but I'm sure most of us have experience of a situation where you think you'll be fine, but then it turns out to be x10 harder than anticipated!
Maybe she thought she'd be fine with having a celeb and teaching, but the reality is different...its not always easy to just "do your job" if your heads not in the correct place

I agree with what your are saying but if that was case and she must have known her relationship was in trouble . Why didn’t she say to the team I am struggling and I am not sure I will be able to manage. Eddie could have been paired with Nadiya instead.

That's it if she is struggling there are other pros who could step in. It is Eddie who isn't getting the best out of his experience because of something external to Strictly.
