Will a Strictly audience remember much about Jade? Not even sure that Bobby does. I would have thought the shoo in for the emotional CC is Annabel. I am not sure they would do two cancer related themes especially with having Amy suffering in the background as well. I think in this case they might be better giving him a full on street dance.

bobby sadly likely doesn’t but a huge percentage of the audience would remember jade - likely from sort of early thirties and up. i’ve already heard a lot of “his mum would be so proud” type comments and seen them on the yt and insta comments for his routines.

(or course, alexandra couldn’t say “i wish my mum was here” mere months after she’d died without people piling on to say she was manipulative and trying to get attention but i digress).

I wonder if the spin they’ll put on Bobby’s cc is as a tribute to his dad for raising him in tragic circumstances? That way they can touch on the Jade stuff, but with a more positive ‘my dad, the hero’ slant.

It'll be interesting to see how much they want to push the Jade stuff with Amy going through what she is. Dianne is one of her besties and obviously she's close to all the other pros and people who work on the show. They're all trying to be as positive as possible at the moment and could probably do without such a big reminder of how tragic things could be.

Everyone should really just get on with the dancing and we the audience will take it as a given that everyones dead relatives are proud.

At the end of the day it's a job, they're getting paid a lot of money to be on that dance floor every week so they shouldn't be acting like it's a charity fundraiser give me your sympathy kinda thing.
