He has a PR company - he made a big song and dance about being signed to them in 2021. As far as I can see they've done very little except charge him to massage his ego and ride on his coat-tails so they can shout about things he's achieved without their help.
You can tell when he posts something that's been written by them- it's painfully obvious because it's not like his normal language at all.
Luba and Lauren have now also signed with them.
 
Christ, the fact that he has a PR agency is mad. They're usually in the region of 5k per month from what I've been told from people in the business.

ETA: I can't see how it's a legitimate PR agency then, surely it's just a standard agent if Lauren and Luba have also signed. I can't see them having that budget.

Both Luba, Gio and Craig are with Gavin Barker Associates for their agents.
Their PR company is BellePR. Its the same company that looked after the Pritchards. They also look after Dr Richard the celeb dentist. That's the link with how a lot of the Strictly stars have been getting influencer work with him.

Ah ok. Just had a look and I see it's Belle PR. They have a brand PR side and a talent hire/agent side. Katie Piper is with and iirc the hows trish brothers are too (make of that what you will 😆) they definitely provide image coaching and media training.
 
I mean, Richie has a PR agency rep in his bio so I don’t think it’s just a mega-celeb thing, although they maybe offer different levels of representation.

Belle PR also manage Katie Piper I think. Charlotte who owns it used to constantly tag Gio in stories and seemed to come on shoots/to events with him.

His agent is Chris Davis of Gavin Barker Associates.
He definitely gets PR/ Brand management from BellePR. Its shocking I know, because it seems like he doesn't have any.
 
I've just watched Hamza and Jowita's ITT interview, and I'm a bit worried about the showdance style being one of those 'little bit of everything we've done' ones. I personally don't really dislike them on principle, there are a few of that style that I've really liked, but I know they can be controversial, and pretty hit and miss. I really hope the showdance doesn't turn out to be one of those disappointing hodge-podge ones and cost him the win. I wouldn't exactly be furious if Helen won, but I would be a bit disappointed. I'd be happy for Gorka, but not really excited about her. I've definitely enjoyed a lot more of Hamza's dances than hers.
 
I think one of the issues with strictly is that we're now no longer wanting the celebrity to win, its the Pro dancer we want to win.

Kevin Grimsby, Gio and now Gorka. Think it says something about the calibre of the celebrities they're attracting.

I've felt really detached from this series. Hamza, Helen, Will and Kym were good. And each had a stand out dance. But it's Molly and Fleur in the final. Both of whom have no fan base.

It's a real shame for Molly cos she's a lovely wee dancer.

For Fleur, this will be good experience for when she turns up on Dancing on Ice in a few years!!!
 
I think it's natural that you'd support the pros and be more invested in seeing them win if they keep coming back each year. It goes both ways though - there are some pros who I definitely wouldn't want to win and it has occasionally affected my support of their celebs - HRVY springs to mind for sure, I'd have 100% backed him with another pro.
