Poor James. It was the right decision, but he seems a nice chap, and I hope he had fun. And I always feel terrible for a celebrity when they get voted off wearing a god-damn stupid costume.

Not only because it's an extra layer of misery on a fairly stressful night, but because it's invariably the photo of them dressed as an unhappy meercat or bewildered beekeeper that gets used for the next 10 years whenever Strictly and them get mentioned together in the news.
