I think my favourite comment in the appreciation thread has to be one poster saying that Kai was 'acting oddly', walking past Nadiya and not paying attention to her, and seemed grumpy in the make-up artist's story. He literally just walked by minding his own business and got a drink at the water fountain. Maisie, Rhys, Nancy and Sara were also standing around talking or doing nothing, were they weirdly ignoring Nadiya too?

The hoops they try to jump through to imagine there's nothing going on between them... the man dared to drink some water instead of staring at his beloved Nadiya in rapt attention (or acting jealous that Aljaz was dancing with her? not sure what the hell they think his reaction should have been) so he can't really be into her... hilarious. 😂
 
Dr Be is deranged. It's scary that she is in a position of authority. What is it about AJ that brings out all the crazies, I don't remember anyone else having this many obsessive fans? Although don't tell that to the Dr, she'll say it's because AJ is the next Oprah 😆
It almost makes me glad the tour is nearly over and a line can be drawn under the 2021 cast, and (hopefully) everyone will move on to their next obsession.
 
It’s probably a very good thing she seems to be in the US otherwise I’d imagine she’d be rushing the stage, demanding Rose and Gio give AJ the plastic glitter ball and Kai and the judges all perform a worship ritual to AJ in the middle of the o2

In nicer news, Rhys is going IG stories for children’s mental health week with the cast. He’s such a good egg ❤️

It is TERRIFYING lack of awareness that she’s using ‘AJ isn’t your friend, you don’t know how she feels’ as a defence. YOU do not know this woman, nor how she feels. However, I could make a pretty good stab that she isn’t too keen on you 🤷🏼‍♀️
 
What is Strictly’s tradition of disrespecting black women?
Motsi - judge
Oti - won twice
Alesha - won and judge
Alexandra - finalist
Judi - twerking legend who had a ball looks like
AJ - finalist
Denise Lewis - finalist
Chelsea Healey - finalist
Lot of contestants who were mid table and a few ladies who went out early.
 
The problem with people who have such firm views on social media/forums is you never get a straight answer to a question. She keeps churning posts out with nobody to stop her because everything is within the boundaries of acceptability (it’s awful what she says but she doesn’t appear to cross the line with it) and there will always be people who follow her.

I wonder if her handle comes from Beyoncé Knowles - perhaps she only got where she is because Dr BeKnow was fighting in her corner?

Would love to hear her give detailed examples of 'Strictly's long tradition of disrespecting black women.' How she would explain away Oti's two wins, Alesha's win etc, I'm dying to know. Not to mention how Motsi has her judging position despite being completely useless at it. (Seriously, she gave one comment to poor Rhys, I think it was, that was so ludicrously nonsensical, I rewound it about 4 times and still had no idea what she was trying to say. A DS poster summed it up perfectly with 'every time Mosti speaks, I question if one of us is having a stroke.')

But of course, she'd never give a real answer, she'd just say 'Jamelia's exit was rigged!' and simply ignore every example of a black contestant doing well. Actually, she probably wouldn't even bother making as strong an argument as that, since it would require doing some research that would take valuable time away from her busy career whining and harassing people on the internet. :rolleyes:
 
I wonder if she'll even be talking about Strictly come the new series in September. Hopefully she at least won't harass Kai and whoever he gets as his next celeb.

This has been a good cast with a decent bond but I'm kinda glad the tour is finishing so some of the press/social media rumours are put to bed and they can all move on.
