It just warms my heart, I love it. It shouldn’t be a huge deal when people do it but it is for the time being…I really hope Rose has inspired many, many more people to learn ❤

Rose and Luba’s BSL lessons - so lovely. The are having a wonderful time. Rose and Gio have won all of them so far?!

In fairness to Gio I don’t think this is entirely true. I usually watch his Instagram stories and I think he missed the odd one here and there but on the whole he has stuck to using captions. Just off the top of my head I remember him using them when out with Jamie Laing :sick: which was definitely well before the tour started.

As for the BSL, we don’t know for a fact that he’s not continued learning it (and before the series ended he said he had every intention to) but even if he hasn’t I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt right now. They only had about 2-3 weeks off in between the show ending and the tour starting so I’m sure he had other priorities such as celebrating the holidays, relaxing after a long 4 months of hard work, catching up with his family and parading around Italy with Kai 🤣

I think only time will tell how genuine Gio was with the deaf community and whether he actually cares. If he never uses captions again after the tour or clearly doesn’t make any efforts to learn BSL then I’ll retract what I’ve said, but I don’t think we’re at that point yet and right now I remain cautiously optimistic. I think if he’d been faking it this whole time Rose would able to see right through him and wouldn’t give him the time of day tbh.

He has arranged, or it has been arranged for BSL interpreters for his tour later this year. So it is something being done to make it more accessible.

I agree, she always gets so much out of her partners and seems to understand their strengths and weaknesses. Plus I love what she did with Joe McFadden - the innovative nature of her routines were definitely a factor in them winning!

That's true! Their personalities seem to match better than his and Dianne's did.

I guess he's also used to tour life and performing in arenas. Dancing live while millions of people were watching was something out of his comfort zone and you could clearly tell he didn't enjoy that part.

I hope we get to see more of this side of her with her next partner. She is a breath of fresh air. Was it a foxtrot she did for Halloween with some of it on the floor? That was so clever and different, though I agree nothing will top the cabaret samba for innovative approaches.

A lot of folk were quick to say that Neil was the real choreographer in their marriage but he managed to quash those rumours single handedly within about 5 minutes of getting a partner 😬

Agreed I think the pressure of the live shows on strictly was too much for him and you clearly could tell he was a bag of nerves; he seems calmer on the tour because there is nothing at stake there.

Re Katya's choreo; I agree she is talented however I feel like all pro's have their limits and it depends on who they get as their partner; I didn't see anything special in Seann or Adam's routines. Joe Mcfadden was good because he is a natural performer so took to it well.

An issue I have with the DS forum (which is what drove me to here in the first place) is that they act like Oti's choreo is gods gift when in fact you cant tell me that Danny & Kelvin & Bill were going to do well regardless of who they got. This is not too diminish her talent because she is a great dancer and choreographer ( I don't even like all of the pro's but you cant deny that they're all talented at dancing and can at some times put together a great routine) but is all largely down to who you get as your partner at the end of the day.

Her matrix routine with Seann was great - that foot pull to standing was incredible, and the plank lift for her AT with Adam with amazing (not her choreo but definitely required somebody willing to take risks). Also, come on, who else would have done the Gangnam Style salsa?! Katya is special because she is willing to do these things.

I also think Oti is a very savvy choreographer and notes of that ring though all her partnerships.

I think it really diminishes the pro and their choreography to say it's down to who their partner is, and I've often seen it used as an excuse to explain why certain pros don't do very well.

Her choreo certainly wasn't bad at all I didn't say it that but I feel like if a pro does well with one celeb they are alluded as a choreo oracle when in fact it does come down to (yes putting together some good routines) but the luck of having a partner who takes to dancing really well. Why do you think so many people wish for their favourite pro to have a ringer at some point? The public might not take to them as a fave to win but you know at least some great routines are going to come out of it.

Yeah the gangnam style was great but was the dancing great? No.....it was more down to the fact you had the oddness of a once serious politician on strictly actually put himself fully into the show which made him great to watch.

Your'e comment about Oti -Do you remember her dances with Anthony or Ugo? Because I surely don't and Ugo was only just this series past. You have to admit she has been very lucky with her partnerships! She was supposed to have Jamie Laing in 2019 and look what happened?!? And with a 2020 year of lack luster celebs there was no way Bill was not winning especially with his fan base.

I really hope they don’t bench Nikita, he’s one of my favourites 😭 I hope Luba gets a partner too.

Providing the lineup stays the same I’d rather see them bench Neil, Graziano or even Gorka tbh if they’re giving Cameron a partner (I like Gorka but he does seem a little uninvested these days)

Is there actually anything in this or did you just pluck it out of thin air? Her liking Gio’s posts and a popular Italian restaurant he likes following her doesn’t really seem like enough evidence 🤣 He hasn’t liked any of her posts so to me it seems like she’s trying to get his attention if anything and so far it’s not really working. They don’t even follow each other and based on Gio’s following list he has no problem following attractive women on insta 💀

Also I’m not sure if the last bit is a joke because I haven’t seen any fans wanting Rose and Gio official for valentines… but if they are I’d say they’re living in a fantasy because as far as we know Rose is very much still taken 😬
