These 'back to the ballroom' interviews are interesting. This week, Jimi Mistry.

His advice to the contestants is not to blow your energy too energy in the competition because it's hard to sustain all series!

Oi that's my husband you're talking about ;)
I’m glad to say I’ve never heard one track knowingly by Harry Styles, or most of the newer ones they play on Strictly. I listen to 6music rather than radio 1, so am blissfully out of chart music land. Could think of some great alternative music tracks instead though :)

If you like classic rock influences, Harry is great. His 2 albums are really critically acclaimed and you can find some great Bowie/Rolling Stones/Pink Floyd inspired songs on them. Watermelon Sugar by no means showcases his discography brilliantly. Strictly are really bad at matching modern pop songs to dances - they love throwing in a BTS track to get their huge fanbase to tune in. The good songs on the charts are always the ones that don't sound like they've specifically been made to be played a million times a day on Capital FM.

Good lord was it really 2010 when he was on?! 😵

I thought her stomach looked a little rounded when she was on ITT the other day. Would she be allowed to take part if she was pregnant though? Maybe just a few extra lockdown pounds. Her boobs do seem extra humongous though 😅

Is Oti pregnant? Her boobs are humongous.

They always have been. If you consider how ‘blessed’ Motsi is, I’d say it’s a safe bet that it’s genetic.

I have just watched the Rebel Yell pro group jive on YouTube and encourage you all to do the same to see how the pros used to be, well pro! It’s incredible. Can we have some more suggestions please? Also, how brilliant were Flavia and Vincent? I miss them.

It’s the best dance that has ever been on Strictly, without a doubt. I rewatch it almost every week!

Another favourite pro dance is the Natalie/Brendan and Pasha/Katya V ‘wife swap’ tango/quickstep fusion to ‘Rolling in the Deep’

This one’s good too:

Thanks for posting these! I think they all show how much Strictly has changed over the last decade.

The ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’ routine, I just can’t imagine them doing anything so ‘raunchy’ these days 😂! They’ve been progressive in some areas but I just can’t see that kind of routine or costumes happening again.

And the other two look a bit old fashioned because they’ve stepped so far away from most things ‘Come Dancing’. The routine with PASHA (and I believe others were dancing too) kicked off the results show however now it’s only ever big group routines - but back in the day, did they have a musical guest that one couple dance to?

Here’s a cheeky wee Charleston from Flavia and Louis that sticks in my mind
